Like many of the other reviews mention, this hotel is very close to Termini station which makes bus travel from Fiumicino airport a breeze. The room was small but fine. Bathroom amenities were decent but there is a mini-mart on the corner of the street where you can buy toiletries if needed. Fair location. The wifi was terrible and kept...

I would like to suggest this hotel to everyone who arrive in Rome via Termini station. The location of this hotel is only 2-3 min of walk from termini station, and 5 min. of walk to the Piazza Republica Metro station (Temini stations is a little to crowded). The hotel is not expensive, it is a very clean, breakfast is...

The hotel is situated very close to Termini station, practically within a 5 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and provided very valuable assistance when asked for guidance. A buffet breakfast is served daily on the top floor.

This hotel was selected by us for a weekend trip including running the Rome marathon. We required a clean, friendly and central hotel and this is it! Just 2 blocks from the Termini station. We picked this place because of its roof terrace for breakfast and it's gorgeous! A nice buffet (hot & cold), a view of the city and...

This centrally located hotel is all round fantastic! A short walk to the Termini makes getting to all of the main attractions so simple. However, if you like to walk, most can also be reached on foot. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb! The roof terrace has a wonderful view of the city. The...

This hotel has a very good location, very close to Roma Termini and has many mini markets/grocery stores nearby. There are a few restaurants close to it aswell. The hotel staff was very polite and welcoming, the room was a bit small but cozy. The 2 problems I had were that if you didn't put the DO NOT DISTURB sign...

As i like to be kind of explicit with my reviews, this won't be any different. I spent a week at this hotel in January 2016 and i'd like to explain my impression in parts. 1- Location: perfect! You can go anywhere by Termini station which is less than 500m away. In the neighborhood there are small mini markets and...

We have used this hotel a couple of times, when overnighting in Rome, prior to cruising the following day. Within walking distance of Termini. Also a few good restaurants nearby. Staff are always welcoming. If so desired the hotel will offer chauffeur pick up from the Airport. Rooms are comfortable. Reasonable size. Good shower. Nice rooftop terrace for breakfast. Excellent...

Our room was very small with thiny bed and very hard mattress. The room was clean and fresh but I just want to warn everybody that the room walls are paper thin, we heard everything from the room next to ours. Breakfast was OK, basic staff, not much to choose from, but enough. The hotel elevator is the slowest one...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
