What a great hotel in Rome for the price...it's no glamer hotel..but it's clean, close to the train terminal, close to the bus station, walking distance to the Coleseaum, the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and other great wonders of Rome.. And sits within some great restaurants on the same street...I challenge you to find find a better located and...

This hotel is located 5 minute walk from Terminal. It is well located. Lots of good food places near by. Hotel itself is average Bathroom is nice and the maid service cleans very well But the room we had was SUPER small Could not even fit 2 suitcases. The furniture inside was way to bulky for the room We never...

The hotel itself is a bit hard to find, because there were barely flags and stuff. It is really close to stazione termini. When we came to our room it was soooooooooo small. We can't even walk properly through the room(404). The bathroom was too small for us 2 to brush our teeth. When you sit on the toilet, you...

The hotel was cozy and clean with good basic amenities. Breakfast was basic but was on a nice rooftop that has a good view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was pretty near the central train station, which takes about 7-8 minutes to get to. You can also reach Trevi fountain/ Spanish...

If you're wanting to stay near Termini then this is a great choice. Comfy beds, good wifi, lovely breakfast room, great staff. It's not perfect - no plugs by the beds is a pain and some of the rooms are quite small. However overall it's a good choice and the staff are genuinely helpful.

The hotel location was quite strategic, 7 minutes walks to Termini, surrounding were restaurants, souvenir shops, minimarket. The hotel was clean, simple (small), just enough for a couple like us who just stayed in the room to sleep at night after we explored the city. There are free wifi in the lobby & room also. The breakfast was ok with...

This hotel was really good for getting around Rome. Hop on, hop off buses just a little walk away. Train station 3 minutes walk. Shops and restaurants a minute away. We had a great time traipsing around Rome and saw everything. The hotel was nice but being a city hotel small rooms and small ensuite, however it was so central...

The room was very small, but it was very clean and had all of the necessities. The staff was very helpful; they helped arrange a car to pick me up at the airport, but it would also be very easy to take the train from the airport to Termini station which was just down the street. There was an elevator...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
