Hotel Arcangelo has been a favorite of mine since 1991 when my husband and I first found it and stayed on our honeymoon. We have returned there each time we are in Rome and we have brought friends and family with us. The service has...More
We spent 7 nights at Hotel Arcangelo, absolutely loved the location, easy walking distance to the Vatican, and many other sights. The continental breakfast was more than adequate to get your day going. We liked the meat tray and fresh pastries every morning, however they...More

Did not notice any smoking in the hotel, but there was a very, very strong odor of smoke in the rooms. At the very least, the wallpaper, and curtains have absorbed the smoke smell to the point that a complete renovation would be required to eliminate it. We enjoyed the hotel otherwise, but if you have a strong allergy, I would book elsewhere.
