Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed 8 nights with my daughter at the Hotel Miami in March 2024. The strongest salespoint for this hotel is its location. Very convenient, within 15 mins from the Termini, and 4 mins from the nearest metro station (Plaza della Republica), and buses run right in front of the hotel on Via Nationale. Still on the 'Pros': the staff at the reception desk (especially Maria) was very kind and helpful. The (rather small) room was very clean, and the restroom recently renovated, except for the shower (but still ok). On the 'Cons': noise insulation is practically non-existent (the installation of some form of noise-insulation gaskets on the doors should be seriously considered by the management), and renovations in the adjacent room started before 9 am. That was quite annoying especially when jetlagged... Unless you are used to sleep on rocks, you are likely to find the mattress to be extremely hard (we had twin beds, can't comment about the other types). Albeit on the minor side, the ride in the one and only elevator is an experience in itself.... We did not try the breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

We come for a 3 days holidays in Rome. We really enjoyed the time, the weather was amazing. We stayed at hotel Miami, was really closed too all the attractions around. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. If we ever come back in Rome, we will choose again this hotel.

Our hotel was booked for our additional day stay in Rome so we had to find another hotel. This is a very very basic no frills hotel. The beds were very uncomfortable and hard. Clean room. Breakfast satisfying for those on the go. Staff was very helpful. Over priced as I paid over €300 for one night. Wished that I had spent more time looking. No iron or ironing board. No in room coffee. Size was adequate. Location was good with stores and train closeby.

A hotel you choose for its location rather than facilities. Most attractions a little walk away and it is close to main bus stop. Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Hotel lacks facilities but loads of restaurants and bars nearby

We booked Hotel Miami last minute due to a mix up with a different hotel. It’s a short walk from the central station, so super convenient if you arrive in Rome via train. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak very good English. We got recommendations for local restaurants and a laundry which all turned out well. The rooms are up on the third floor of the building and whilst they are not decorated in the latest modern style, they are in good condition and are very clean. The air conditioning also works well which is essential during a hot Roman summer. Overall a very positive experience and we would stay there again. There were four of us (2 adults, 2 children) and we shared a room for 4.

It was our third time in Rome, this time for the rugby. Hotel is in a great location, so easy to explore this fantastic city! Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms are small but perfectly formed! Breakfast room is small and can get busy but plenty of choice food-wise. All in all, a good hotel for the money

This is not a luxury hotel by any means. However, for tourists who want to spend their time out site-seeing, this will meet your needs. It is in a good location, close to the train station, near the Hop-on/Hop-off bus, not far from the Trevi Fountain, close to restaurants, etc. The hotel is clean, with small rooms and a decent buffet breakfast (if you have that included). Wifi is good. The bed was comfortable. But there is only one small elevator. Hints: The hotel is on a major, noisy road, so ask for a room at the back where there is not much view, but quiet. Also, they are very skimpy on paper products (no kleenex, tiny rolls of TP) so you may want to bring your own.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back. Much quieter, away from the busy street.

Small hotel with clean small rooms, close to the terminal station and not far from main attractions. Lots of restaurants near by and an Irish bar across street . Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep , very noisy from the street and in the hotel trolleys are dragged through the corridors at 3 am every morning

Good, basic hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the street. Security was good and staff were friendly. The street noise (endless sirens, busses, the Irish pub across the road) was well muffled by the tightly-fitting windows, and didn't bother me. Breakfast was plentiful but exactly the same every day. Location was good - walking distance from Metro and busses. Supper was a bit of a schlepp, having to go out and find a restaurant every night. (when you get sick of endless pasta and pizza, look for AstroSmash burgers a few blocks away, rather than the McD's up the street).
