This is a fantastic hotel for the price. Clean, modern, large room, tea and coffee facilities in the room, mini fridge with two small complimentary bottles of water, You then have to pay for more but we picked up 2 large bottles from the shop around the corner for €2 and put them in the fridge. The only very small...

A very "smooth" hotel with great staff and a tasty breakfast. The location is good with walking distance to most of the must see in Rome. It also walking distance from the Central station. The only small complaint is the beds, which are somewhat hard, but still ok

This hotel is absolutely amazing and I will def mutely be returning in the future. The rooms, reception, hallways and dining areas are all modern and exceptionally clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and will go out of your way to help you out in anyway they can. Upon arrival, there was an unfortunate mix up with our room...

Stayed here for 3 days loved the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. I would have given the hotel a 5 star review but had to take away a star due to the very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. It may be because we were American but we did speak Spanish. I read so many reviews and people raved...

We booked a stay that we had already paid in advance through our agency. When we arrived the receptionist we met at the front desk (Danilo) literally assaulted us and he brutally asked for the voucher when I showed it to him, he practically ripped it off my hands. Afterwards, he asked for a credit card supposedly as a guarantee...

The room was small but updated. Only shortcomings were lack of ice machine on the floor, had to ask the staff for ice from the kitchen. We got a room on the first floor & the window looked out into the patio where people would come & go from so we really could not open the shades without people being...

We stayed in a ground floor room and when I walked into the room, I was honestly impressed by the size of the bedroom. The bedroom is roomy by European standards and I would say is comparable in size to most U.S. hotel rooms. The room is clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. As others have mentioned, there isn't...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
