Stayed here on a romantic 3 night birthday break with my boyfriend for my birthday. The hotel was lovely. Our room was a new one on the 5th floor room 52. The air con was a god send after a hot day exploring. Rooms were spacious and extremly clean. The bathroom had a massage shower. The reception staff were extremly...

There's a reason why this hotel is rated #1 in Rome. It's the service: staff make you feel that you are their #1 priority. For those arriving by train, location is excellent: no need to worry about cabs as the hotel is a short walk from the station. It is advisable to print a map from mapquest as the hotel...

We recently stayed at an apartment managed by Residenza Cellini, and then on an overnight return to Rome, stayed at the Residenza Cellini. Both were fantastic. The hotel is very clean, very central and just perfect for a stay in central Rome. The apartment was terrific: very convenient, and allowed us to accommodate our large family in a residential area...

Stayed at this hotel from July 2 - 5, 2008. Very nice accomodations. The room was clean and large. The bed was a bit hard, but this is common in Eurpope. The bathroom was nice and clean. This hotel has a lift that can be used for a suitcase or two. As with the other reviews, it is true that...

This hotel is a great find. Very close to Termini train station and reasonably close to all the sights (about 10 to 15 mins walk). It is a bit out of the way, so therefore more quiet than traditional Rome hotels. It is a small hotel, and therefore has great friendly service. The rooms are larger than average. We had...

It is in a great position for travelling arround and also close to some great resturaunts or just a wander to the spanish steps. We...

We stayed at the Cellini 5 nights in the beginning of June and returned for another 3 nights near the end of June. We were impressed with the level of gracious service and the general feel of calm in this small hotel. Our room a Junior Suite was spacious, well appointed and spotless. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
