This was a distance from the centre of Rome but all in all it was a lovely hotel. For a three star the room was above average. The wi-fi was acceptable (could be better) and the reception was lovely. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast either even if it was as quiet as a morgue in the breakfast room!

This is a good value option when visiting Rome. It is a little out of the way but close to public transport. The Colosseum is approx 40 mins walk and quite a pleasant route with places to stop for a coffee. Room was comfortable and kept clean. Air conditioning and free wifi were good. Good choice for the buffet breakfast... More

We stayed three nights at the Cilicia and were more than happy with the room and the way we were treated. Our first floor room was actually at street level and next to a main road. We were surprised that there was little to no road noise. The room was a good size and bathroom facilities adequate. Breakfast was good... More

I'm only giving Hotel Cilicia a 2/5, because of the continental breakfast, as there is a lot of choice, otherwise I would only have given them a 1/5 or even 0/5 if there was that choice. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room; the shower is tiny, the shower sliding door is not easy to open and close;... More

I stayed at Cilicia Hotel for four nights with a friend and it was just what we where hoping it would have been and even surprisingly cozy! The room was always very clean, there is free wifi, the fridge is always being checked (filled up if needed) and it was nice that we always found the air conditioning on when... More

After reading some reviews I was very worried about what I would find however it was much better than expected. The breakfast is very good, the hotel is clean and tidy and the reception staff on the whole spoke good English and were helpful. One lady and one gentleman were not particularly helpful but that was all. The rooms were... More

The Hotel Cilicia was a lovely, quiet place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist me (a single traveller). The room was pleasant and of generous size with an adequate, fully fitted en suite. The linen was clean and fresh and the fridge and hair dryer were welcome additions. The... More
