We booked a family room for 5 nights. The room was actually large compared to European hotels, with a large king bed plus 2 separate single beds for the kids. Our room was on the 6th floor with 2 large windows which opened but there was no view as the windows had a short wall in front. Rooms had no road noise during the night nor could we hear any noise from other rooms. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. More than enough space for a family with 2 kids. Breakfast was had a great variety of food with plenty of well spaced tables. The hotel is in a quiet area which would suit those who want to escape the bustle of Rome, although its only a short walk to areas such as the Trevi fountain and Pantheon along some nice streets. The hotel reception staff were very helpful in providing directions and we booked our taxies via the front desk when needed (only takes a few mins). The hotel also provided us with a private taxi which collected us from Rome Fiumicino airport for 60e. The driver was waiting for us in the main arrival hall with our name on a board and provided us with a large Mercedes van which was an excellent start to our holiday. Lots of great restaurants very close to the hotel which cater for the local offices so are not tourist traps. We ate in the local area close to the hotel 4 or 5 nights.…
We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a deal to watch Italy v England in the 6 Nations. The hotel is in a quieter part of Rome which suited us for what we wanted. Our room was on the 5th floor and was a good size with a very comfy bed. The staff on the front desk and in the restaurant at breakfast were really friendly and very helpful. Even though the hotel is not in the centre of the city, it was only approximately 10-15 mins walk if that's what you wanted. Personally we actually preferred it where we stayed and would definately be happy to stay here again.
The hotel was more like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was average, our bathroom smelled of mold, Location was in a calm area but far away from tourist attractions and city centre. No gym or restaurant. Big rooms but we dont recommend this as a family hotel.
Very comfortable room, friendly staff and good breakfast. Reception were very helpful and would be very happy to stay here again. Good recommendations for restaurants locally and how to explore the city. Not the most central hotel but good.
We stayed here with my young family 5 nights. wife, two toddlers and myself. room on the 4th floor seriously recommended. rooms have thick glasses but romans are noisy, mostly big honking lovers. stay top floors. i spent 5 great days i have to admit. we hired a nanny and therefore we were able to enjoy a city that is not just plural, it's unique. i am italian and i know it well but every time i go back from london, where we all now live, is a joy. uber is available everywhere. taxis not expensive. walking distance from main sights if you wish. few great trattorias in front of the hotel where the food is normal quality for rome but 5 stars if you come from the uk. very polite staff as well. yes breakfast is what it is. covid i guess doesnt help but i will go back. for sure.
