This is our second time staying at Hotel Julia when visiting Rome. It's a charming hotel with friendly staff and unique rooms. Many major attractions are within a short walk or there is a short walk to Piazza Barberini and the Barberini Metro Station if you need to travel further distances. The bathrooms and rooms are small in comparison to...

Hotel was very clean, staff were courteous and friendly. Bathroom was tiny, especially the shower, you had to step into it sideways! Location excellent, close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Continental breakfast was basic but good enough. Good value for money, I would stay there again

I've been to Rome a number of times. For me the Hotel Julia's location works the best. If you enjoy walking, pretty much all areas (including Villa Borghese, Trastevere and Vatican) are within 3 - 5 km. If you don't wish to walk too much, then Barberini metro station is very close. The staff at the front desk, breakfast area...

What should you look for when booking a hotel in Rome? Proximity and easy access. When we visited Rome in March for 4 full days we looked for a hotel situated in the center of the action, right next to the Fontana di Trevi. After doing some research, we decided that would be a lovely place to be at, especially...

This little hotel proved to be the best thing for my trip with my mother. The location was ideal near the Barberini Metro station and just down the street from several bus stop routes, which eliminated the long walking distances to our daily destinations. The hotel was clean and safe, and had an elevator which saved my 83 year old...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is a central location from which you can get to the most of the tourist attractions. However, it requires a fair amount of walking but walking in Rome can never be boring. (If you do not like walking, then you might find some distances long) Regarding the breakfast, there was...

This is my fourth time at this hotel in two years. It's extremely good value for money. No frills, but all the basics are in place, and rooms are decently sized, good wifi, helpful staff; great location, easy public transport from Barberini.

Great location and friendly staff, good breakfast but wish I could have had more than one coffee. Clean room and a comfy bed but was cold on the first night, fine once I was given an extra blanket. En suite shower was adequate and clean, water was hot and pressure good. Lovely big bath towel! Ideal for us spending 3...

This is truly a 3 star as advertised, but in a great location, for a very fair price. Not much on frills, but a friendly staff, decent breakfast. Walking distance to the fountain and many shops and restaurants.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
