Easy to walk to from station , metro , etc. made our arrival in Rome after a LONG trip from USA easy. Welcoming staff, pretty room which had ac and thick windows to keep noise out when sleeping. That meant we could tackle those first days well rested, making all the difference. Hotel is spotless and the breakfast ok ---...

Everything about this hotel was great. One of the best values for the money in Rome! As for location, it was very close to the Roma Terminale train station, several pharmacies, a 2 minute walk to the subway, and a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered to book us private...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
