This was my 3rd visit to this hotel, this time we upgraded to a Junior Suite. Plenty of character and good value at 445 Euros for 4 nights plus 32 Euro city tax. Only criticisms were that we could hear someone in the next room snore and there is a small step from bedroom area to bathroom, which I stubbed...

Nice hotel, ideally located a few blocks from the Termini Station.. Clean rooms, free and good breakfast, reasonable price for Rome"s city center. Everything was perfect, except that I forgot my glasses in the room to go and have never been found. But .that does not prevent me from giving this hotel a good note. Will return next trip. Will return next trip.

We stayed here for three nights in November for my birthday. As it was a birthday trip we upgraded and got the 'Deluxe' room as we thought it would have a bath and also because the mini bar was included in the room price. The hotel itself is in a great location - really central (about ten minutes walk to...

We stayed in a room on the 4th floor which was quite large and well laid out. The decor was stylish. Each floor is accessed only by key card for security and I did feel safe however we only had one key card so had to return at the same time. The staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is...

Very good hotel for the price. Hotel room was good and clean. Only problem was one of the light switches on the bed side lamp was slightly broken and gave a small electric shook but other than that our stay was great and I'd recommend the hotel to others

The hotel is located in via del viminale, close to Termini station, which is very convenient. The personnel is useful and friendly, much appreciated. My room was adequate to the price, no frills in the hotel nor in the room but appropriate to the price. Breakfast is ok. Wifi working well.

While I typically prefer to be more centrally located within a more pedestrian-friendly area, this is an excellent option near Roma Termini if you prefer to be near the train station or simply want a better deal than you can find in the city center. This is still an easy walk to the Coliseum and lots of options for public...

This hotel was so close to everything we wanted to to see in Rome. We walked everywhere. All the the great sites including the Colleseum and Roman forum 10 to 30mins walk. But hotel is so close to Termini that you can catch metro trains everwhere too. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable particularly Max I think was his name. They...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“I had 2 rooms during my stay because the BBC t.v. channel wasn't available in first room. First room was on the side, it was quiet had a bath/shower combo. Second room was actually an upgrade, better bedding and a good shower although it was a tight fit. No bath. ”

“Warning--certain times of the year the air conditioning or heating in Italy is not allowed on so we had to open the window which means street noise. Just use earplugs and we slept fine. Hotels have no control over this regulation.”
