My wife and I just stayed three days at BIancagiulia. Pietro and Cristina couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The place is beautiful and just a few blocks from the Termini station. Unlike many places in Italy, you can even get full on their breakfast :).

Clean, friendly and cheerful. Pietro was very helpful and gave us tips on the best places to visit. Room was clean and fresh with a beautiful balcony full of flowers. So much more personal than a hotel as it was in an apartment block with a beautiful foyer and courtyard. So much more the feeling of the real Rome. Close...

From the first day of booking we had a little issue with the booking company. Pietro personally contacted us and fixed the problem. When we got there it was cool because he remember the situation and who we were. He got a map and sat with us outlining the map and circling places of interest and how to get there....

I cannot praise this establishment enough. Pietro was a wonderful host. The B&B is located close to the Termini. Pietro took the time to sit and advise us of all the places to visit. Every morning he would arrive and have coffee with his guests. Check what we had done the day before and advice what we should do today....

They treat Asian people like me, my friend, and other travelers very nice. They even provide the instant noogle for us to miss our home food. Coffee is nice and you could even bring back some raw material from super market and cook at their kitchen for your dinner. Convenience and friendly owner. BTW, everything you ask for help, they...

We were in Italy for our honeymoon and Pietro's B&B was the first destination after we got off the flight. The B&B is located very close to the Termini station and the Colosseum (both walking distance) in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything in the city. It's a charming property in an old house. On the outside it...

Just 10 minute walk from Termini railway station (take the back exit from the station). The immediate location around the B&B is not very inspiring, but everything is within easy reach. The building is 140 years old, so the character of the building and rooms is interesting. Beautiful courtyard with a fountain, and sunbathing turtles. We had the triple room,...

The host, Pietro was waiting for us in B&B with practical informations about Rome. Everything was clean, inviting and designed by owners. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Fresh breakfast is very nice - especially Italian coffee and cakes. The hotel is located very near to Termini station and Metro.

Very accessible to Termini and metro stations. This is the place where you want to relax after a long tiring day. The room is cozy, clean with a little balcony where you can relax and drink your freshly made cappuccino. They served good breakfast everyday, love the tiramisu. Pietro and Christina are very nice, they helped plan your itinerary, pointing...

We had a cosy room with a balcony and comfortable bed. We also had some vintage pieces of furniture there. The place itself was very clean, breakfasts were served from early to late, so it allowed us to be flexible. Yes, and the food was great, a big selection of sweets and all sorts of coffee. We could also cook or...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
