The location couldn't be more perfect. It is just a 3-5 minute walk from Roma Termini. You will want to live near this station if you plan on doing day trips to different Italian cities. Also, this is the best place to stay if you plan to just stay for 2-3 nights in Rome because then you'll be close to...

Great B&B! Rooms are clean and comfortable; we had the room with the balcony which is an added bonus as you can sit in the shade whilst enjoying the fresh air. Breakfast was also good - a lot of choice so something to please everyone! Again, the kitchen and all cutlery was very clean! They also have a fridge so...

My wife and I traveled to Europe for 4 weeks for our Honeymoon during the month of March 2015. Rome was the last stop of our trip and we stayed at Biancagiulia B&B for 5 nights. It is a husband and wife that run the B&B and they are extremely kind and funny individuals who are passionate about doing whatever...

We are 3 girls stayed for 3 nights in 1 big room. The place is only minutes of walk from Termini station, and several landmarks (includes the Colloseo!!) The room is artsy and beautiful! It's not your typical boring hotel room. And near our room there's a kitchen and dining room (also beautiful) where breakfast served. Feels like we were...

Our B&B hosts, Pietro and Cristina, do not live on the premises, but very nearby. Cristina met us within minutes of our arrival and gave us the rundown on Rome sights and our neighborhood which was close (but not too close) to the Termini train station. This location makes it easy to walk or catch the metro or the bus...

Pietro and Cristina were practical warm and friendly and provided us with great information about Rome. Everything was clean, and we really felt like home. Rooms are cleaned everyday, thanks to Maria. They served good breakfast everyday, love the tiramisu plus the Italian coffee and bread. The hotel is located very near to Termini station and Metro. What a fantastic B & B! Located conveniently just a short walk from Termini and extremely affordable. What we thought was most invaluable was the local knowledge on must do's, eat's, see's; walking/transport routes and queue-jumping tips that Pietro shared with us. It really made our time in Rome easier and more memorable.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
