This is a great place to stay in Rome. The price is decent, the rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely heated and it was comfortable even though the weather outside was cold. Breakfast is basic but is accompanied by great coffee. The location is pretty good - very close...

When we stayed here in May 2011, it was still a new bed and breakfast run by Antonio. It is near the Vatican and a short walk away from the Ottaviano metro station. There was no sign outside the huge doors to the B&B, so you have to follow the instructions to get to the B&B. It was really a...

Excellent location for visit to Vatican, friendly and help ful staff. We rang about our out of hours arrival which they agreed and kept following up with phone calls to make sure that there was someone at the B and B to let us in. We were even offered late morning breakfast on out arrival. The room was clean and...

Very good service, rooms are clean, nice breakfast, people are very friendly and helpful! Although the entrance of the building might give a bad impression at the beginning, but the place is really good, worth of the money!

We stayed at Twice B&B and what a lovely stay we had. We arrived about 1900 hrs and was apprehensive when we got dropped off by our taxi. But we had a nice greeting from Antonio who had waited for our arrival. The rooms were beautiful and clean and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast had a good selection and...

I can't fault this B&B. From the friendly, personal, but not overbearing service from Antonio, to the lovely air conditioned spacious rooms and bathrooms, to the varied selection at breakfast. Don't expect a 5* Hotel, it's more low key, smaller and more personal. Great location too, you could literally throw a stone and hit the Vatican. I borrowed a few...

B&B Twice was a great place to stay. The owner and staff really care for the guests, and we got such great personal service. The room was beautiful and had a romantic feel to it. The bed was very comfortable. The owner arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport, and he arrived early to bid us goodbye....

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and will gladly return. The room was lovely and there was a jet power shower in our en-suite. The breakfast was also excellent. There were dvd's left out in hallway for guests to watch. The b&b is located close to a metro stop and a five minute stroll to the Vatican.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“If you're not bothered about sharing a bathroom book the room with the outside bathroom, its a little cheaper and we didn't even end up sharing, it was just outside the room. We ended up staying in an en suite for 3 of our 5 nights as it was available for no extra charge anyway, which was nice of Antonio.”
