Reasonably cheap. Stayed here 4 nights. Hotel Colosseum is located in a very good place from where main attractions are 10/15 minutes walking distance. Colosseum 10 min, Rome termini train station 7 min , Cavour Metro 3 min on foot. Plenty eateries nearby. You pay...More
Excellent accommodations and a wonderful staff, who were very helpful and speak English superbly. The hotel is off Main roads but well-located. It was quaint and charming. We loved our stay here. I would stay again!
Nice hotel. Good location. Quiet street. Great balcony inside room. Rooms are big. Needs drinking glasses. Very nice staffs. Needs refrigerator inside room but no. Breakfast need to be improve as well.
Not fancy, but for the price point and location, great deal. The service was good, we drove so it was convenient to have a public garage on the corner. Rooms are simple but clean. We got to enjoy the roof terrace. It's also super accessible...More
This is a nice hotel, can not say nothing wrong, rooms clean, bathroom big enough and clean. Bed was a bit soft and used but at the end comfy. Breakfast simple. Rooftop terrace is nice, with nice view and cold drinks after whole day of...More
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

I would get the train which runs from the airport and only takes around 30 mins to Rome Termini station. We had a minibus but because of the traffic problems it took almost 1 hour & 45 mins so train is better.

Sorry for the late response. We really enjoyed this hotel. It was in walking distance to many attractions, had a nice rooftop bar and breakfast. We felt very safe in this location. The rooms were a little dated but the view from our private balcony made that a non-issue. We had a driver from the hotel pick us up at the airport upon our arrival and took a cab to Roma Termini for about $10. We could have walked there but we had so much luggage. I would stay at this hotel again. Hope this helped.

I can tell you this, even though the rooms may be small and do not have refrigerators, they will do everything within their power to accommodate your needs. You can ask them directly and perhaps they will let you use the dining room fridge, or the one in the bar on the first floor.
