This is a wonderful hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Do not be put off by the location, all of the attractions are easily accessible. The reception area is very big. Tea, coffee and cake served throughout the day. Lovely seating areas in the front and back gardens. Location: It is situated 15-20 minutes from Termini station (bus), 20 minutes to... More

The main reasons to stay at The Hotel Panama Garden are, firstly the staff who are really helpful and secondly the local restaurants. The rooms are adequate although our room was in need of decoration. I believe many rooms have been upgraded - Having said that being in Rome is all about getting out so it didn't matter too much... I stayed here with my mum, sister and aunt for a 5 day city get away. I feel it is important to note that star rating is not a universal one. For example; 4 stars in Dubai is not the same as 4 stars in Europe. I would not say this hotel is 4 stars. Positives: It is a clean... More

We were very impressed with this hotel, particularly considering the price was very reasonable! The staff are always polite and VERY helpful. They spent lots of time giving us very clear instructions on how to get to many of Rome's famous attractions and gave us many free maps. We had a standard room; the air conditioning was wonderfully refreshing and... More

Stayed here from 30th July to 3rd August. We are a family of four. This hotel is in a superb suburb of Rome only a 15 min walk to Villa Borghese and 20 Min bus ride to centre of Rome ie. Termini. The rooms are exceptional, with a high level of décor, bedding and showers. The staff were helpful and... More

staff are very helpful location of the hotel is great. Elevator is too small so i walked the stairs instead. Rooms are very hot and could not sleep. Air con did not work and they did not fix it. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was dissapointing with lack of selection.

We stayed here for four days. The receptionists are friendly and helpful especially the ladies. We were impressed with Jessica and Jay they look after the guests needs and hotel's room cleanliness. The breakfast is ok but coffee is substandard (not expecting this in Italy where they pride themselves with food and coffee)... If we have a car the location... More

Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast. Rooms very clean and well equipped. Free wifi & safe. Don't let the outer appearance of the hotel put you off - it looks dated from outside but rooms have been modernised. To give you an idea how far out from the centre it is, it's 15 mins walk... Although the hotel is slightly out of the centre of Rome (around 15-20 mins public transport/taxi) it couldn't have been more ideal! The hotel itself is inviting, clean and pleasantly decorated. The room we stayed in had all facilities and home comforts we needed for our stay. It was nicely kept, spacious, clean and comfortable, which was especially important after... More

Stayed for 3 nights and the hotel was exactly what we wanted. Room was small but clean and decorated well. It had everything we needed such as TV, safe, fridge and free wifi, enough clean towels provided etc and the bed was unbelievably comfy! Staff were very helpful, quick to reply to emails and they accommodated a specific room request... More
