This was our first experience of Rome. What a great location, and within walking distance of many sights. Breakfast on the roof overlooking part of Rome was a highlight. Internet very slow was a downside.

within walking distance at the Spanish Steps,Trevi Fountain,Pantheon and Piazza Navona,an area with a big choice af all types of restaurants.Friendly staff, early check-in/out possible with no extra charge.Spectacular views at breakfast from the rooftop terrace.Clean accomodation, only some noisy neighbours, because of the thin walls....,but this is a traditional Rome hotel with atmosphere.Don't miss the "Gelateria Giolitti" ( since 1900 ),which is...

Colonna Palace is a nice hotel situatet on Piazza Colonna, a quiet place and even close to all the things you must see when in Rome. The room is fine and there is a braekfast-restaurant on the top floor with a beautifull wiev over the city - you can see the Vatican. Close to the reception there is a bar...

Stayed there for two days. The rooms are nice. The rooftop breakfast is great. Their free WiFi sucks; we asked for a remedy to no avail. The location is excellent for visiting the major touristic attractions on foot. The area is safe and has excellent restaurants. Eould stay there again on my next trip. Hopefully, they would have fixed their...

Stayed here with my husband and 9 month old baby. Hotel location is the best part of it! Walking distance to Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, about 20-25 minutes walking to Colloseum and Vatican, close access to the shops and restaurants etc. Breakfast is good enough and covers your basics (bread and pastries, juices, fresh fruits, eggs, yoghurt, cereals, jams, cheese...

I was expecting a bit better from this hotel based on its photos. The room are ok, bathroom small and be careful with the shower water going everywhere. The bed was reasonably comfortable, breakfast offerings average. You will be located right next to parliament so there are always lots of police which was of comfort, however there is no proofing...

We had a four night stay prior to embarking on a cruise. The staff were pleasant, obliging, spoke fluent English, and helped with our luggage up small elevators. Our standard room was adequate and faced onto Parliament square. It was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and was very nice with great views towards the ancient ruins....

Spent a couple of nights during our family visit to Rome. Location is great with a short walk to the Panthenon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and plenty of places to eat. Rooms are a little dated but clean and service is great. Free breakfast was good. The top floor terrace is a great place to have a cup of coffee...

Rome is a very busy City...that's both people and traffic. Hot this time of year 30c. . Only went there because we love Italian food and Roman history. We had a nice 3 bedded room on the first floor overlooking back. Room was large, high ceilings , and beds and decor good. Bathroom was excellent. Safe and fridge in room. Air...

The hotel is very basic. No restaurant just breakfast which is good. The rooms are basic but the beds are as hard as a rock. Beware the people working there and check your bill. They added 100 euros to my bill and the woman next to me they added 34 euros to her bill claiming it was the bar. I...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
