I booked this hotel for my last night in Rome after returning from Venice. This hotel was great. My bathroom was newly renovated, the bed was comfortable and I had a balcony. It was gorgeous, billowing chiffon curtains with a glass patio door. My view was the street below but it was so magical and I loved watching the city...

The location of the property is great both for sightseeing and for business. Major sights and government offices in the centre are at walking distance. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but has lots of charm and the staff is very helpful. I was given a nice enough room, which was spacious and clean. The roof terrace offers a...

Thanks for your detailed review about our hotel. Religious object are very traditional in Italian hotels, in the XX century there used to be a Bible in every room too, as the hotel has a classical decor, we mantain part of that tradition. Beds come with blankets in every hotel in Italy, we are sorry this was an issue for...

Move beyond the front door and check-in area and be surprised. We were aware of street noise and on early check-in, asked for a quiet room. The clerk's response set the tone for a very pleasant two-night stay. He immediately phoned housekeeping and after a brief conversation assured us we could be accommodated but a room was not yet ready....

Before we went on the trip, we read all the reviews, so we knew the place was older, knew there might be "road noise" and hard beds. But our personal experience with this hotel was great, very few issues. The room was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities except washclothes (what is it with Europeans and wash clothes?) But...

The hotel was in a great location in the centre of Rome, everywhere you wanted was within walking distance, but the hop off-on tourist bus stop was also very closeby. It is a bit old and tired but that was fine, the rooms were spacious and clean. The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop, such a beautiful view...

Good hotel, nice big clean room. Breakfast was ok. The man on the desk was so helpful could not do enough for you. Easy to walk to all attractions. Mini bar in room was very cheap which was nice. Also nice comfortable lounge. Very happy with stay.

This Hotel is within walking distance of everything! The roof terrace is astonishing with a very nice view. The Hotel looks a bit "old" but this is not bad! You get the real roman experience from this. The people working here is also very friendly and helps you with anything you want. We had a twin bedroom with a nice...

We found the Pace Helvezia in a great location, walking distance to so many attractions. The staff at the hotel were always helpful and polite. The beds however, are as hard as a rock and this seems to have been a problem for some time. They are so hard that sleeping is difficult. The breakfast is also just adequate. Probably...

A great value, beautiful rooftop views. Close to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and many other attractions. Rooms are small and quaint, very clean and excellent service. Enjoy the ambiance, walk everywhere and save from other more expensive luxury hotels in central Rome.

We booked one night stay for 9 of us as a stop over to be near the airport for our flight home, initial thoughts were great location for all the main attractions, however most positive thoughts soon disappeared after walking through the doors. Firstly there is no air con in the reception so waiting to check in in the August...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
