The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to major attractions like Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum and Vatican. The breakfast was very good and the staff was nice. Unfortunately we were let down by the poor quality of the room. We were initially...More
This hotel has an excellent location in the very center of Rome, which makes travel very easy. Almost everything can be done on foot and if not, many buses pass by just around the corner and even the metropolitana is not far away. Shops, restaurants...More

Nice hotel in a great location. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Very safe location next to the Italian Parliament building. Rooms have a nice Italian style. I would stay here again.
We have stayed in this hotel many times and always recommend it to friends going to Rome. It is a wonderful location - easy access to all the sights but also near lots of good restaurants and the famous Giolittis for gelato! Wonderful staff as...More
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

It's too far to walk from Termini to the hotel, and I guess a taxi is the easiest way, but if you want to use public transport you could take the Metro (Linea A) from Termini just a couple of stops up to Barberini station, then a bit of a walk (c.500-600 metres) from Barberini down Via del Tritone to cross Via del Corso and reach Montecitorio. Alternatively I believe bus no.71 runs from Termini station to Via del Corso. Hope this helps.
