First, let me start with check in... "welcome, we have been expecting you..." was so wonderfully refreshing. Then, we checked in when we arrived in the morning, the wait for our room was minimal. The staff gracious and over accommodating. The bags were brought directly to our room within seconds of us getting into the room. We leave for the... More

We had actually booked another hotel but in usual British Airways tradition they messed up but offered us a room here. We are so glad they did ! Right from check in to departure we were treated to excellent customer service and always a warm welcome. Gianni on reception was especially attentive but all staff followed his lead. The room... I´ve stayed many times at the Palace Hotel. The staff is super friendly, rooms are nice and the location of the hotel is fantastic. It is in the heart of Rome. So walking around Rome is easy and major attractions are very close. A perfect place to discover Rome.

Stunning hotel with lots of history situated in a great location in central Rome. The rooms are stunning and the views if you're lucky enough to get a balcony are amazing. They also have an underground spa, gym and sauna. Definitely stay here

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The location and neighbourhood was great but the "standard room" that we got was terrible. Small, smelling and semms to be an annex. The receptionist was aware of the kind of room he was giving so he said "We'll be happy to upgrade your room for a better one for just 50 additional... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay here, and was extremely pleased we chose this hotel. Our room was tastefully decorated in a modern way, with a beautiful bathroom with walk in shower and a massive king sized bed. It was off of the main road so was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and far more than the... More

Very good location, except for the horns and the noise of the traffic every morning because of a cross in front of the hotel ... Avoid the rooms facing the Via Veneto. The apartments are very poorly furnished. So if you are spending more than a few days, get ready to spread their luggage and improvise... The staff was very... More

Very centrally located near Spanish steps some restaurants and villa borghese. We came from Scotland for one week and stayed in superior rooms with balconies and whilst rooms were lovely more storage space would be helpful, there were no drawers in the room. It would have made our holiday if we could make a coffee in our room. I know... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
