The hotel was claen and comfortable with a friendly and helpfull staff. The hotel served great included breakfasts. You can walk to the Spanish steps in 15 minutes and the Pantheon or Trivi Fountain in another 10 minutes. The old Roman wall is accross the street and the Villa Borghese park is one more block away. Two blocks away is...

Is nice, clean, friendly to American/English people.. I would stay there again.. The employees are local people who can point you in the right direction or set up a city tour with qualified companies right at the front door.. There is also an american style breakfast buffet in the lobby of the building for an extra charge... It was included...

A colleague and I stayed for 3 nights in this delightful hotel. The staff were outstandingly helpful, professional, and friendly. For one who has stayed in many hotels around the world I would rate this one very high. If you want oppulant luxury you might not like it, but for a reasonably priced hotel it met all of my expectations....

We have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights while doing sightseeing in Rome. Hotel is quite well located, about 10mins on foot from underground, but if you like exploring towns on foot you will not need it - downtown is about 15mins, farest monument is Coloseum but you can still walk there in about 45 mins. To Vatikan it...

My family and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. Positive things: clean, decent breakfast. The negatives and be aware: far from the Metro, in the rooms do not get Wi-Fi, did not provide additionally means such as showers caps and shoeshine sponges after the usage, especially to business personnel – they didn't provide iron. Hereunder catastrophic story that...

We took a tour of Italy for our 30th wedding anniversary, and this was our hotel n Rome. It's located right inside the ancient wall of Rome. Most European hotel rooms are smaller than US ones. Our room had the sink and toilet, along with a bidet, in a room on one side while the shower was behind a door...

Two elements make this an excellent choice when staying in Rome. First, the location: at a few steps from Via Veneto and Villa Borghese, yet in a quiet street. Second, the very good attitude of the personnel. One can feel an excellent training and an effort to really care about the guests. Plenty of good restaurants and transportation around and...

Good little Hotel that has recently been renovated. Nice Bar as well as a decent restaurant where you also have breakfast. In summer you have also a stunning roof terrace overlooking a small park.It takes only 10 minutes walking to the Spanish Steps. Hotel staff has been helpful in any respect.

We stayed for three nights. Our room was comfortable with two twins beds pushed together. The location is across the street from Borghese gardens and walking distance to the Metro. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was probably the best of the four different hotels we stayed at in Italy. The only one to have cooked scrambled eggs in addition to...

We spent our last 3 nights at this hotel in Italy after traveling for a month. We booked our room directly with the hotel because we had specific requests - balcony, king size bed and breakfast. Booking via email was very easy. The response was prompt. The location was nice because it was at the end of the shopping street...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
