We spent 5 wonderful nights at the Savoy, we found this hotel to be first class for everything, great staff, service, friendliness, an absolute credit to the Savoy group. Location as other reviews have stated is very good. You can walk with ease to many of the historical sites, taxis are very reasonable with a taxi rank more or less... More

First time staying at this hotel. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Our 4th time in Rome, but still had questions about where to go and the staff could not be more helpful. Roof top lounge is great for wi-fi or photos. Room was large and quiet- breakfast and breakfast room were outstanding. Very clean. HIGHLY recommend.

Nice location. Close to many things. Bar on top floor has pretty view, but spotty service and restricted hours. Good breakfast. Rooms had awkward layout. Internet was weak and inconsistent. Not a repeat.

I stayed here with my Mum in a twin room on the first floor, the beds were very comfortable - just what we needed after a long day walking round Rome. The Hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was brilliant. All of the attractions are within walking distance - Trevi Fountain and... More

My husband and I got married in Rome this October. We had our reception in The Savoy hotel. Diana and Aldo were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the whole process. The wedding reception was beautiful. The staff who looked after the wedding party were so kind and always eager to help. I really can't say enough about the staff. We... More

The Savoy is an old 4 stars hotel. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The location is excellent ! On Via Veneto, near villa Bourgeois and many other important sites. The cost is very reasonable, I'll definitely come back here.

We stayed here in Nov. It is a clean property, but somewhat dated. The restaurant on the roof is nice but expensive. The breakfast is included and is average. It is close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and within walking distance to lots of good restaurants.

The Savoy is located just off the Via Veneto - easily accessible to the Borghese Gardens, the Spanish Steps, Fountain of Trevi, etc. on foot. Very helpful staff and old world charm. Wide variety of restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
