Our first time in Rome so I cannot make comparison with any other hotel, but I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel De Monti. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful, definitely ask for their advice about where to go, what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was always served promptly to our room with all of the...

This was a great stayed in Rome. Location its the best part of this hotel, 10 minute walking to Coliseum, and 5 minutes to cathedral Santa Maria Magiorre. Take in mind that as mention on the description there is no elevator, only stairs to the third floor, we did not have any inconvenience, however its important for some people. Reception...

our room was a good size, clean, no frills, and fine as a base. I wouldn't have wanted to spend any time there as the window was small, with an aspect across a narrow street to the back of another building, but fine for sleeping in. The shower room was on the small side, but functional. Fresh towels daily. Reasonable...

Dear Guest Thanks so much for the review! The location of our Hotel is actually the most central in the City, as the Monti district (where we are) is the part where Roma has been originally built, more than 2700 hundreds years ago. We are still only a 2 stars Hotel, with rooms facing the big street or the interior...

We stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't ask for anything better. We knocked on a neighboring door which we thought was the hotel, but the man that answered showed us the correct door just next to us. It seemed as if that happens a lot, very friendly. That was the trickiest part. Rooms are clean and simple and the...

We visited this hotel mid-August 2016 Perfect central location. Upon arrival at the Large Wooden Door - reception will answer the buzzer in the afternoon. There is no hotel sign and we first tried the buzzer at the wrong door. Once we figured out how to phone them we were greeted at the correct entrance door. Staff is friendly and...

Just returned from a 4 night stay here and there are a few observations I would raise. Firstly, the staff are great. Very friendly and helpful. The cleaning ladies are excellent and also serve breakfast promptly at the time requested. Breakfast was pretty good. I'd prefer a cooked option, but then we knew it was only continental before hand so...

Dear guest Thank you for your review. We are in Monti district, which is the most characteristic and the most central one in the City. We just want to remind everyone that we are a small 2stars Hotel at the third floor of an ancient bulding without lift, the building is considered as a monument and all our rooms are...

Location is perfect, wouldn't want to be based anywhere else. Staff super friendly and exceptionally accommodating. Good value for money. Only downside were the stairs and having to carry the suitcase up/down - there's no elevator. Parking is also an issue as had to place car in lot at an heft price.

Dear Guest, we would like to thank you so much for this review. It has been a real pleasure to host you here and would like to remind everyone,as you have reminded, that we are at the third floor of an ancient building not provided with a lift and that we have no sign outside. This hotel is an adequate choice - the price is fair, and the staff were friendly (when they were there, reception had very limited hours). I didn't really understand why they bothered to offer breakfast, and whatever chemical they used to clean the bathrooms daily made the room smell awful! Having never stayed elsewhere in Rome I'm not sure how...

I stayed here for two nights by myself and was very pleased with the service. Small family owned hotel and the lady helping me out at the front desk spoke English very well.
