We stayed for three nights in March. Location is business district with no restaurants around; go to the via veneto for that. Room nice with huge tube, Italian only tv, decent staff. Expensive for what you get. Nice rooftop breakfast, but it is totally enclosed, no fresh air.

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The front desk manager, Gianni, was incredibly helpful and polite, giving us detailed information on everything we needed for our stay, as well as making the hotel as accommodating as possible. He even let us check in VERY early, when we arrived before we expected. The hotel...

We stayed at Hotel Veneto for five nights in March 2012. Check in was quite simple and straightforward. The room we were given was an average European sized room, relatively small and pokey. One bedside cabinet and no access from one side of the bed. Decor of the room was nice, however the only mirror in the bedroom, other than...

We stayed at Hotel Veneto for three nights towards the end of March 2012. The hotel room was a typically European room (small), but nice decor. The walls were covered in this sort of padded wallpaper, which gave it a nice, retro style look. Bed was a bit too firm for my wife's liking. We also had left the window...

Near Embassy Row and Via Veneto but enough block away that noise not a factor. 7 minute walk to Metro, 13 minutes to Trevi fointain and all the tourist junk. Restaurants near the hotel very nice, delicious food, open at 7 in evening and tad more expensive than touristy areas so if you want an earlier dinner you have to...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
