Honestly i wasn't impressed, the photos make it look alot nicer than it is. The bar was never staffed, the shower flooded and the shower head was broken, alos the grip holding the shower to the wall was broken so you had to hold the shower head to use it, this was all fixed for us but the fact it...

The hotel was average but no 4 star hotel by a long shot. The location is decent enough that you can walk to the big attractions but you will be tired by the end of the day. There's no big attraction near by. The area is quiet and lonely and there are just a few expensive restaurants near by. If...

This hotel was nice but not really our taste- very ornate older style hotel. I would not stay here again but thats just because there are so many other hotels to choose from in Rome and this one did not wow me. The service was good and the complimentary breakfast had your basics- coffee/tea and selection of bread options. The...

The hotel seems stuck in old times. Building is certainly very old with only one lift which is very slow moving. The pathways are not designed for smith handling of heavy luggages as one has to lift them time and again. Staff is helpful but the best thing about the hotel is it's location. Everything's seems nearby.

The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly but we were not impressed with the room. The bed was very comfy but there were no shelves or drawers in the room, so felt like we had lived out of a suitcase for four days. There were also no windows as we were in the attic area - just a...

Staff extremely helpful & lovely - helped us to organise our tickets for the City Tour bus & Coliseum, Roman Forum & Palentine Hill. Hotel in fab location - 15 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and surrounding areas. Hotel on top of a hill although lovely restaurants and bars leading up so many places to stop! Villa Borghese is at...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Veneto Palace for a week, in February 2017, It was the perfect location a ten minute walk to the metro station in Barberini. The staff were fantastic and helped with all our needs, couldn't fault them on their helpfulness! especially when we needed to take the bus to Stadio Olympico to Roma Vs...

My wife and I went there for 3 nights at the beginning of February 2017. Location was further out from main attractions than ideal but it was in a nice quiet area with several good local restaurants. Hotel facilities were basic (no restaurant and soulless bar) but worse was the room - unable to open shutters so didn't see daylight..!...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
