We spent five nights at The First based on prior reviews in TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We had an upgrade to a small suite, which was fully appointed with nothing missing. The rooms and the entire hotel are beautifully decorated and include all of the original art. The front desk staff couldn't be more helpful in recommending restaurants...

Just a superb hotel - customer service was first class; be it restaurant recommendations or bookings, allowing us to borrow their hotel umbrellas to offering us a complimentary drink on arrival. Attention to detail superb and everyone very friendly. Bedroom very comfortable indeed and very easy to walk to everything from the hotel. Would definitely revisit.
