Stayed in September on our way back from a Cruise . The young lady on reception was wonderful, really helpful, rooms were ready early - always a great bonus and were spotless, although the 3 rooms our group stayed in were all very small but then you don’t go to Rome to stay in your room. The grey decor ( grey walls & wardrobes etc ) may not have helped the feeling of compactness. The rooms were however very very quiet and the wireless phone chargers built into the bedside table was a great idea. The roof terrace is lovely but after 7 in an evening is open to the public and can get very busy along with the restaurant so I would recommend you book . The breakfast was included and simply fabulous with a great choice of hot and cold options - you really couldn’t ask for more . The Hotel is in a great area with many restaurants and bars to choose from. The area itself is one of Romes most affluent areas with high end shops and away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of Rome . Overall a lovely hotel and certainly one we would return to .

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in this this hotel with my husband for 6 night ( in the beginning we supposed to stay 8 nights and unfortunately there was no available room) My husband is Roman and I many times been in Rome and saw so many different hotels around, but this one is top! Totally new building, super classy modern design, each detail in hotel is just an amazing. This hotel surpassed all expectations. In general in Italy works that photo is one thing and hotel is another, but not about this place. First of all location. 5 min by walk from subway, walking distance to any attraction or to anything what you have to do in Rome. Seriously, best location ever! Rooms are not that big, but you got everything what you need, super laconic design, huge comfortable bed, very comfortable pillows. Very easy and clean. There is a beautiful open view terrace in hotel, one of the best terrace in Rome that I ever been. Just a pleasure to be there and enjoy beautiful drink in the night. I’m super happy about this place and now every time when I will come to Rome I will stay only in this hotel! Top of the top

Beautiful Hotel made even better by the fantastic team on the front of house. Always there with a smile and happy to help with anything that was needed. The hotel itself is Modern and the rooms spacious and equipped with everything that’s needed. Location is quiet and yet accessible to all major sights etc… We love Rome and on our next visit we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great stay. Stuart

Myself and my partner stayed in the Orazio and we were made to feel so welcome from the start to the finish. The rooms were so clean and the bed was so comfortable. The room was cleaned every morning and new towels and products were left when needed which was great. Marco and Giada were so welcoming, helpful and friendly and are a credit to the hotel. We will definitely be coming back to stay. Thanks again to all the staff, Ciaran and Hilary room 109. Ciao

We stayed there for five nights- absolutely no issues with the hotel apart from the night there was an electrical fault in our room and all the lights were stuck on! They had no other rooms to move us to so we were given two options: attempt to sleep with all the lights on (and I really struggle to sleep with any light on), or they switch off the fuse to the room and we sleep with no electricity. So we chose the latter and had to sleep with no electricity- so no charging our phones overnight! However even with no electricity, the emergency light came on in the room which couldn’t be switched off- so ended up sleeping with no electricity AND a light on! Safe to say I did not sleep a wink and was knackered for our Colosseum trip the next day. They had fixed the issue when we returned that night. When we were checking out I raised the issue again with a staff member and she was very nice and very apologetic about it. However when I asked for a part refund for that one night she said the hotel had a no refund policy! They offered nothing else in way of compensation for a sleepless night- even a voucher for two free drinks at the bar would have been better than nothing! I appreciated the electrical fault was out of their control for that night- however having to pay full price for a room with no electricity and trying to sleep with a bright light in your eyes was unacceptable. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning to Hotel Orazio Palace!

Dear Kevin thank you for sharing your experience with us.We are sorry that you had a problem for only one night of the five ;unfortunately I was not present at the check out to share my displeasure with you. Surely I would have contacted her this morning as the first thing, but having already communicated that she no longer intends to return and that we are sorry so much, I apologies again and we hope to have the possibility of welcoming you back and reserve for you our best treatment. Wonderful staff. Beautiful rooms.... Surrounding area, sad to say, smells like a clogged sewage, dirty city.... Painful to see Rome that way and being Italian to see it, it hurst even more. FANTASTIC staff working the breakfast room. Bravo!

I should start off by saying that the hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The night we spent there was amazing, and there are great restaurants nearby. It would have been a five star experience if it weren't for some sketchy billing practices. They made us pay again for a trip that was already paid for. We'd booked a room for 2 nights and were really looking forward to staying but a series of flight delays prevented us from arriving in time for the first night booked. I emailed to let them know but was on flights but they never confirmed my emails. I was able to reach them once I got to Rome but by that time they told me I'd have to pay again for the hotel room despite availability and the fact that I'd already paid for a room for 2 nights and had a room assigned for me. They took advantage of a rule that considered me a no show because I missed the first night, forcing me to pay again. I was willing to fork out more money because my family needed a room but I still feel like they took advantage. It was a frustrating travel experience which was a shame because it's a gem of a hotel near the Vatican and the staff were phenomenal.
