Perfect walking to EVERY TOURIST ATTRACTION. I walked to the Vatican, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps....just amazing. Nice and quiet to sleep and cool air conditioning, hot shower, and excellent wifi! Loved this place..walk to great restaurants and shops...only thing that was not perfect was the mattress too hard for my liking. My best vacation at Residenza Horti!

Nicely decorated double room (smaller than expected) complete with adjoining balcony/terrace, perfect for those balmy Roman days, a morning coffee or a nightcap. Location of the hotel was excellent - right by Piazza del Popolo giving easy access to Rome's metro network. Location is good enough to allow easy walking access to major sights such as Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps...

We booked the hotel as we want to experience apartment type accommodation. Before arriving to Rome, you need to call them so they know your arrival time as there is no reception. When we arrived, we called again the person in-charge thru the intercom at the door. We waited for 15 mins and we got the keys. Everything was okay,...

The location was incredibly convenient, and we got a great deal on Hotwire. In light of that, we did not mind climbing the nine flights of stairs up to our room because there was no elevator. We thought of it as a great way to burn off the pasta we ate earlier. We also did not mind how hard it...

Location is great, walking distance to a lot of attractions (although due to torrential rain during our stay we did get a cab a fair amount to - near a taxi rest stop too). I was really ill during the first day of our stay, and my boyfriend called the reception staff, who were patient with him calling several times...

Location is phenomenal. Walking distance to everything ! Right near the tridente at Piazza del Popolo,on Via del Corso. It wasn't an issue for us but for some lack of elevator to go up 5 floors of steps might be problematic. The residence is also not to easy to find, the rooms are in a building with other private dwellings...

The decoration for the hallway, bedroom, side mini room, and bathroom was sooo beautiful. I loved the wallpaper, the furnishings, the light fixtures were enchanting, so really appreciated the luxurious feel of the place. The location was amazing, along via corsa, close to two metro stations. My only two problems were: - given there is no reception there, I had...

As a repeat visitor to Rome, I can appreciate this hotel and what it has to offer. Affordable price. Great location on via del Corso, a busy shopping street close to Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps. Large rooms with beautifully appointed names such as "Angelina" with an old fashioned Italian flair and some rooms even have lovely outdoor...

In fairness I should say that I was aware that the lobby was five flights up from the street - with no elevator. But that did not really prepare me for the thrill of lugging my bags up 102 steps to the "lobby". And this was after hanging about on the street after phoning for someone to come with a...

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we love it. Forget about the fact that the room is on the 5th floor (and there is no lift). Once we arrive at the room, we were impress by the beautiful decoration, and the amazing terrace. The terrace, facing via del corso, was the perfect place for...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
