We stay here for 4 nights. It was a great surprise to find out how central it is we stayed in the annex building. Upon arrival Giovanni checked us in he was so helpful with showing us how to get around and what we should prioritize. We did have a problem with the room it was really loud must have...

What a fantastically placed Hotel, slap bang in central Rome. Clean, nice staff, helpful, and comfortable to the point of cozy. It might not be 5 star but it's got more of an independent vibe to it, rather than luxury. You could upgrade but pay a lot more, if you can afford it, then go for it. Very friendly atmosphere,...

This was my 3rd stay there this year like I said before nice place very close to all attractions but just far enough away from the crowds The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok to start your day and the happy hour is good to have a glass of wine before heading out for dinner

Just back from 4 day break in Rome and can't recommend this hotel highly enough! Location is very central, right next to the river & approx 10 minutes walk from Vatican City (& I don't walk quickly)! Reception staff were all excellent, a variety of fruit, pastries & frozen yoghurt were always available in reception, a lovely touch & yhere...

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends in October. Very easy to get to although no metro station in immediate locality. Very attractive reception area with friendly helpful staff who spoke English. The en suite rooms were large and well appointed. Our room overlooked the street but this is a quiet safe neighbourhood so no problem. Breakfast was fine...

I stayed here in July for 4 days. The AC did not work and it was extremely hot in Rome. After 2 days of complaining they changed us to a different room and told us they would refund us the money for the first 2 nights, that it would take 7 to 10 days. It has been more than a...

The location of the hotel is very good as it is about 15 minute walk to the Vatican, and 10 minute walk to the centre of Rome. The room was nice enough although the toilet had one of those seats that are smaller than the actual toilet opening and I really hate that. Otherwise ok. The room was not in...

Perhaps I should have done my homework before allowing my travel agent to book this place. The room is tiny, the beds are very old, can feel the springs in the mattress. 30 degrees in Rome and the aircon does not work. No curtains on the window. Room 111 seems to be above the restaurants kitchen below and the extractor...

We went to this hotel on recommendation from 3 other couples who have all stayed here mainly because of the location. It's in easy walking distance to all of the main attractions and sites - whilst being just far enough away from the crowds - night and day. Easy walk to the main shopping street Via Del Corso - and...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
