We absolutely loved this hotel!! We were lucky to have the balcony with the view of via Veneto!! Absolutely in love !!! The receptionists were ALL wonderful and welcoming !!! I felt absolutely spoilt and made my holdiay in Rome so much better!!
Always stay here when in Rome. Great American breakfast, very clean, welcoming and helpful staff. Not far is Vladimiro's Restaurant - my fav. From Hotel Alexandra is a two minute walk to Piazza Barberini where there are tons of shops and restaurants. Across the street is the famous Harry's Bar. A great place for lunch in Piazza Barberini is Pepy's Bar. Sit at one of the outdoor tables and gaze at the passerby's enjoying a glass of wine or italian beer. Staff is super friendly and fun.
We booked 3 rooms in Hotel Alexandra for our trip to Rome. The staff are so polite and helpful! We arrived 2 hours before we were able to check in and they allowed us to store our luggage whilst we went for lunch. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfy. There is strong wifi too. Hotel Alexandra is a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Rome is such a beautiful city and we will definitely be returning and staying in Hotel Alexandra.
We checked in on Thursday for my birthday trip and upon reading other reviews I was hopeful to receive Prosecco on arrival like the other guests have on their birthday however this didn’t happen so I am slightly disappointed. It is a great hotel. We are staying in an economy room which is slightly small but bigger than we expected and definitely big enough for 2. We couldn’t fault the staff, they are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is walking distance to any attraction you want to see! There are so many restaurants and bars within 1 minute. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Rome.
Bonjourno! The front desk remembered our rooms whenever we returned for our keys. The rooms are nice & quaint & feel newly renovated. We were in a great location for walking to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain & the Pantheon!
Fab little hotel right in the heart of Rome. We stayed for 3 nights & loved this quirky, boutique type hotel. Its old but beautifully in keeping with its surroundings & very clean! It has all you need for a city break, somewhere clean & comfortable to sleep & wash etc with good working WiFi & the guys on the front desk were always so helpful & friendly. The location was amazing, 2 minute walk to Metro, 10 minutes to Trevi fountain & other attractions plus lots of little restaurants. We also walked from the hotel to the colosseum which took about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace taking in the sights on the way. On our last day, we were able to leave cases at the hotel so we could go off & explore without worrying about cases. If your doing a 3/4 night city break in Rome I highly recommend this hotel. We only ate breakfast one day as we’re not really breakfast eaters, we get up a bit later & go for brunch but what we did have was the usual continental type breakfast. Would definitely stay again if you go back to Rome!…
Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Metrostation just a few metres from the hotel. Walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish stairs, and other highlights. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice rooms, Highly recommended.
Great hotel considering value! Great value hotel, excellent location and good price! Comfortable bed and clean rooms. You have a few options for breakfast (free). Staff is polite and kind and they let us leave our luggage for the afternoon
The location was great and you can visit most of the attractions on feet , the staff was very helpful and kind , however the rooms was very old and need a renovation and doesn’t look like the photos provided by the hotel , beds are not comfortable and bathrooms are very small .
