Went for 3 days to rome, my third time to visit this beautiful city. I stay in the via Veneto area each time as it is so easy to visit the Trevi fountain, Pantheon nd Spanish steps all within 15 mins walk. This time I stayed in Hotel Alexandra. Lovely hotel. The reception staff were very nice, helpful and friendly....

Was there during New Year vacation with a family. Good location among a bunch of high rated hotels like Majestic, Westin Excelsior and many others. Comparatively small, but clean rooms. Helpful staff. Worst memory was a clean up team provided with a very loud walky-talky which they don't hesitate to use starting 7-30 am. And you became a real third...

Stayed here for 3 nights to do some sightseeing in Rome. Location is great just metres away from the metro stop, from which everything is accessible. Although the rooms are quite small they are well decorated and the shower is fantastic. Found staff to be EXTREMELY unhelpful and made me feel intimidated when I walked by. Apart from that I...

Good room, great service, great location, and great value. The staff were really helpful with anything we asked for. Might not be a full cooked breakfast, but it is Rome not England, and the spread was extensive. Thanks loads

Room was tiny - size of a New York City Studio. Breakfast was cold spread of meat, cheeses and pastries. Wished for a hot breakfast life eggs and bacon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Can walk everywhere and close to metro.

Upon arrival at the hotel you'll notice a flight of stairs to the lobby without a bell boy waiting, but on the right side of the door way take notice of the bell. Ring it and someone will help with your bags. Do not try and carry your luggage(s) up like we did. Joseph greeted us and assisted swiftly to...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
