This is my second worst SPG experience, very simply because of the poor service. For the price, there are other options. Especially in Rome where you can get a nice classic building and much better service. I will NOT be visiting this hotel anytime soon, nor do i recommend anyone to stay here. - Location is decent, you can walk...

For our first trip to Rome, we wanted a hotel close to the sights, comfortable, and clean. The Visconti has been great. We are located near the Vatican and a short walk across the river to the historic center. The remodeled rooms are fresh and compact. The breakfast buffet is superior and a valuable way to get going. Service had...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Reasonable walk or easy cab ride to Vatican Museum and St. Peters, as well as other locations. The room I was given was not as I reserved, but worked okay. Electricity also quit working just before we left for the evening. I mentioned it to the clerk and he said he would send someone....

Rooms were beautiful, front desk was also helpful. From previous reviews it looks like there was a problem with SPG perks, and I definitely feel the hotel has made a push in the right direction in that regard. We went to Rome for our honeymoon and when we got to our room there was a complimentary bottle of prosecco on...

Fell in love with this hotel. Was perfectly located in Rome, minutes from the Vatican and Colosseum. Service was excellent and professional. There was an outside patio area that was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was beautiful, clean and quiet comfort. The room was nicely decorated with nice amenities. The front desk was very helpful in storing our luggage and security safe box for our valuables. This allowed us to register in the morning after a long flight and go ou to enjoy a day in Rome. The restaurant was just what we...

Good hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood. 10 min walk to metro, 20 mins+ to the majority of sights, but nice to be able to go back to somewhere away from the tourist spots at the end of the day. A good selection of local restaurants close to the hotel. Hotel rooms modern, comfortable and with just enough space for...

Wonderful hotel with great location and within walking distance from many famous attractions. The hotel’s rooms are with a good size and is well furnished and beautifully decorated, with feeling of the touch of luxurious. I guess the rooms have just gone over a recent renovation. The bathroom was outstanding and very large with brand name amenities and supplies. Reception...

Stayed here while we explored Rome for two days as part of our 2 week tour of Italy. The location was great. Easy to get to from Roma Terminal, and lots of local places to eat. The location is close to Vatican City but other attractions such as the Colosseum and Roman Forum are far walks. Walking is possible if...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
