I have just had a wonderful four night stay at the Quirinale Hotel. Although my room was described as a small room, it was plenty large enough with a very generous sized bathroom. The common sitting areas at the hotel are very inviting and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were helpful and courteous. The location is excellent and I...

Cons= -Lots of noise during the night, there was no carpet on our side of the building so people walking by the hall can easily wake you up several times during the night. -Included breakfast is not good, all ingredients the cheaper ones, there was no natural orange juice nor real eggs are served. -There are no real curtains on...

This hotel is centrally located. we walked to all the areas of interest from here. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We thought that it was value for money. The breakfast was adequate but uninspiring. The hotel would benefit from a makeover in the reception areas. Carpets in particular are worn and shabby and...

The hotel is in a great location, all major attractions within walking distance. Our room was very noisy, next door to the cleaners cupboard but the walls in general must be very thin as we could hear everything going in in the room next door, even the lights being switched on!! The staff were extremely helpful, reception printed out various...

Quirinale Hotel was exceptional. The staff were patient, accommodating and friendly. From the comfortable room and the wonderful complimentary breakfast to the staff's willingness to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Quirinale Hotel is conveniently located near the train, bus and Metro. They are located on Via Nazionali that boasts many great shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Quirinale Hotel!

We stayed for 4 nights in November. I chose this quaint old fashioned hotel in preference to a modern alternative, thinking I wanted to be immersed in history. Firstly, as everyone has said, the hotel is in a fab location. All main attractions are easily accessible. We did sooo much walking during our 4 days,as we only used the metro...

Quirinale is a great hotel in an excellent location. Airport shuttle dropped us at Termini, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Passed the Opera House on the way - the sounds were magical. Everywhere is within walking distance of the hotel, but if you want to spare your legs, you might want to get on the Metro - Repubblica...

We spent 4 nights at Qurinale Hotel in Rome this January and we were very pleased with the location, the service, the size of the room and the overall convenience of our stay. Internet service and buffet breakfast were included in our room rate; breakfast was a adequate and internet service was consistent (speed and coverage) throughout. Location: we chose...

We stay here for 7 nights. The hotel generally is good. Has very good location in Via Nationale, very close to Metro and all public transport, that is very important because any taxi or private drivers will ask from you double, sometimes triple rate. The room is not so big as was shown in pictures. Towel and pillowcase were changed...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
