We just returned from 6 fabulous days at Hotel Artemide and highly recommend it! The hotel is beautiful, spotless clean everywhere and the service was outstanding. We choose a comfort room and had a jacuzzi bath which we really enjoyed after long days walking the city. The breakfast is worth having included in your booking, the selection is the best...

We spent 5 days at Artemide, time to visit Rome. We did arrive early morning, did get the room only after 14:00. However the service was good, the room we had was a king of suite. The breakfast is excellent and again with very good service. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated. To be noted that everything in the...

This hotel is a wonderful retreat in the heart of Rome. The rooms whilst small, are tastefully decorated with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The little extras such as complementary water, beer, juice and nibbles are a nice touch. Breakfast is wonderful, with a variety of lovely food, you will be offered fresh ricotta and mozzeralla...

The above title is the hotel slogan - and they have got it 100% right! This hotel might not have all the bells and whistles of some hotels but it is exceedingly comfortable, the breakfast is very good, the beds are great and the public areas spacious. But above all the staff, without exception, are outstandingly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly....

Excellent location in the centre of Rome. All staff were very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. We had breakfast included in our booking, there was plenty of choice and the food was great.

I booked this hotel after significant research on the internet and it certainly lived up to expectations for a perfect stay in Rome. From the emails between Sebastien and myself in preparation for our stay, to his welcome when we arrived, to the amazing breakfasts with Pasquale at the helm and his team, to the wonderful Valentines day meal in...

We have visited many hotels all over the world and very few have matched the exemplary service at every level throughout the hotel. Room service was outstanding, concierge service brilliant and reception helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Rome. The location is fantastic and the restaurant is one of the best in the...

Just returned from a three night stay. Unexpectedly at check-in we were upgraded to a Junior Suite. Excellent and very comfortable room with small balcony providing views of the street. Staff all very helpful and friendly, and excellent breakfast. Had a reasonably priced and excellent meal in the restaurant on one evening. Outside seating area was closed for maintenance but,...

We spent 3 nights in the Artemide hotel last weekend and would not hesitate to recommend it. The rooms are modern, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The hotel itself is in an ideal location with all the major sites within walking distance. The Ambrosia restaurant on the roof of the hotel is...

My husband and I are just back from a Valentine's short break in Rome. We stayed in Hotel Artemide which was an amazing experience. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had several queries before we arrived and Ivan on the front desk was quick to email replies and really went the extra mile to make sure we had...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
