Having just come back from Hotel Clodio I just cannot understand the comments of some reviewers! The staff at the hotel made us so welcome on arrival and continued with friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the superior rooms which was beautifully furnished and had a gorgeous terrace with sofa and table/chairs. Well worth...

Staff were excellent, especially Carmine who spoke excellent English and waas very helpful indeed. Breakfast was good too, eggs and smoked salmon available every morning. Location is not too bad, about 5 mins to bus station and buses were quite frequent but it's quite a way from the main sights so expect alot of time on the buses. The Hotel...

I will not council to anybody to go to this hotel... It's far from everything (25-30 min from the center by bus). And you will have to wait 30 min to have the good bus... Moreover the staff especially the staff during the night is not sympathetic at all. This hotel should be rated 2 stars max...

Good distance from the center, near to public transportation and walkable distance to center, even with baby buggy.. Personnel outstanding, definitions of cleanliness vary depending on who is on duty. I would definitely stay here again, we have the suite though, which is pretty newly remodeled.. Don't know about the rooms.

The room was very spacious, and with some nice amenities like Nespresso coffee etc. The bathroom was very nice as well as the terrace. I was...

If you need to rest your head this is an average hotel. Nothing fancy about it at all. Elevators are slow and SMALL so no more than 2 people w/luggage at a time... no luggage you can fit 4. Thats about on this hotel. The breakfast was very good and a good assortment of pastries, beverages and even had bacon...

We had originially been booked to stay at another Rome hotel. After arriving at the OTHER hotel and finding it to be disgusting, we set out to find something that was several notches higher on the nice scale. From the moment we walked into Clodio we felt relieved. It was very charming and the staff was extremely accomodating. In the...

I stayed in Hotel Clodio in the first weekend of October 2011 for work. The hotel is located just below the “Montemario” hill near the headquarters of RAI. The hotel is officially a 4 stars hotel but when you get out of the elevator I can’t find immediately my room …. My room hasn’t have the door as the others...

I had the chance to stay at the Clodio hotel in Rome in September, 2011. The hotel is located in a residential area about 1.7km directly north of the Vatican. The hotel is frequented primarily by Italians and there were very few non-Italian tourists at the hotel. The hotel is on a quiet side street and has a very unassuming...
