I would strongly suggest Hotel Duca d'Alba if you want to stay near the Colosseum as it was just minutes in walking distance. Our hotel room was beautiful and straight to the point. Elisa was great in communicating with me before and during our stay and I would highly recommend you contact her if you have any questions prior to...

We stayed here for 4 nights in November and have booked an annex room, after reading some reviews we were apprehensive on weather we had made the right choice. We had it was brilliant, our room was d6 so was at the back of the building so nice and quiet, its not huge but big enough for a place to...

My daughter and I spent 4 nights in this lovely hotel, the location is excellent with most of Rome's places of interest within walking distance and surrounded by good restaurants. The hotel is clean and well decorated, our room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice both hot...

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights. We were given one of the renovated rooms on the 2nd floor. It was an excellent size, very clean and probably the best hotel we stayed at during our 7 city tour. The front desk employee Christian was also amazing as well, he deserves to become the Manager as he was...

I booked to at the Duca D'Alba because it has great reviews and also the pictures looked very convincing; however it was a let down. I expected a very nice small hotel (like pictured in the photos) but the hotel was slightly tired, the rooms were very small (even the superior), the rooms were quite unclean, and the breakfast was...

Dear archieQ5656PB, We do not know how to reply your bad review basically because it doesn't offer a productive critique, it demolishes in a sterile way: you were disappointed and you penalise everything, even our brekfast otherwise widely appreciated. Rooms are what they are, a cosy boutique Hotel won't have large rooms and our rooms are much discussed about, so...

While I "ticked" November 2016" it was actually several years ago. We were there on my wife's birthday, several years ago. They helped me plan and celebrate her day. They picked an inexpensive. but nevertheless outstanding restaurant, where we were the only non-Italians in attendance. After a superb meal, we returned to the hotel to find a bottle of Champagne...

Stayed here in the summer for four nights (forgot to review it at the time!). Very reasonably priced, we initially booked to stay in the annex but were upgraded to the main building upon arrival. Room overlooked the street, which was quite busy, but I can honestly say that the noise was minimal. The windows and shutters kept everything out,...
