Clean beautiful rooms. Good views of the city, Excellent staff, helped us many times. Comfortable lounge and rooms, slept well in the bed. Our room was not huge but it was quite comfortable. Delicious Food was prepared perfectly. We had a wonderful time here, came with Roma Travel. Within walking distance of many attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Coliseum,...

This was a great location for walking to many of the main sights of Rome. Down the street from the American Embassy; close to the Barberini Metro stop. We were able to walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Vittorio Emanuele II Plaza, Saint Peter in Chains Church, Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and many more interesting places to visit....

This hotel located within walking distance of Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff very helpful. Our room was large compared to European standards. Complaints-bed was hard as a rock and the free wireless was a joke. I paid extra for "Premium internet" that was spotty at best.

Lousy, small rooms in a mediocre hotel. Uninspired food. Amazed that Collette would put us here and even more amazed that Marriott would allow Collette to treat its clients this way. Thank God only two nights in this place. Time for Collette to make new arrangements for Roman Holidays.

This hotel's location is very ideal. Tons of restaurants in the neighborhood. It's almost 50 steps from the Via Trittone for shopping. The metro/subway is down the block. The Hop on/Hoff off tourist bus stops across the Via Trittone, so very nearby. And close enough for a short walk to the famous Fontana di Trevi. We stayed in two different...

The hotel is situated in a very good area for those coming to visit Rome, within walking distance from Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. There is also a metro station very close by (100m or so). Location-wise, it's perfect. As for the hotel itself, i'd say it's ok: rooms are clean and cozy, although a bit outdated. Looks like...

There are plenty of restaurants and its a very short walk to the Spanish Steps. The hotel is lovely and full marks...

I'm quite happy with this hotel. The room is still small but at least slightly bigger than my previous hotel, the bed is comfortable to sleep and the bathroom is clean for similar price I paid in the previous hotel. The location is good, it's in the central of everything. It's quite a good hotel.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
