Couple stayed here last week for 5 nights and found this the perfect hotel close to everything including the termini rail station. Check in was courteous and swift - no issues there. Room (junior suite) was very large with nice clean, modern bathroom and a wonderfully large terrace affording great views of the city. A wonderful spot to enjoy a...

I expected luxury booking this hotel and while the entrance gives hope of grandeur the rooms are dusty and in need of a deep clean. My husband and I were upgraded as we travelled on our honeymoon but the room was far from meticulously clean. If you're ok not taking a close look at cleanliness this is a great spot...

Near the main station, on the tram line and walking distance from major sights. Collosseum about 20 minutes walk. We were here for the Italy v Ireland rugby match and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are fine, lifts are a tad slow so we used the stairs a lot. Didn't eat in the Hotel so cant comment about its food...

Located nearby to Roma Termini with the many transport options to scoot you around Rome and close enough to walk to most of the main features. Some things about this hotel are excellent: location steps from the Termini central train station, grandeur of the lobby, friendly staff, ample self-serve breakfast starting at 6:30am with a variety of cereals, pastries, meats, juices, teas, and every type of coffee including cappuccino. Some things about this hotel are not as excellent: aging rooms, some random bits of dust, service...

The hotel is kind of old, however, the location is great. It is only 2 blocks away from Roma Termini and have access to both subway lines. Although the hotel is old, it is somehow clean. The air conditioning was not working well and it was too hot in the room.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
