Myself, my wife and daughter stayed at this hotel at the beginning of May 2013. I have stayed at this hotel before so knew what to expect. We had a two bedroom suite which was very nice. The rooms were quite big and very clean and tidy. We arrived about 3.30 in the afternon and had to wait for our...

Very well-located near Termini station, staff always friendly though I wouldn't recommend room n first floor as to me they seem dated - ieve stayed here many times and third floor or higher is best. Rooftop bar lively in evening and free wifi works well. Good value in what can be a pricey city.

Very friendly helpful staff. On arrival showed us a map of the city & pinpointed places of interest. Booked with lastminute.com so room was standard, very clean & adequate but bed was only a small double & shower tiny so may be worth upgrading. Breakfast was basic but you had as much as you wanted & the view from the...

We had a very friendly welcome and were relieved, given our limited Italian, that they were happy to help us in English. The room was very dated but it was comfortable and clean. We walked from the hotel to the main sites (no more than about half an hour) although took the Metro to the Vatican, but it's not too...

This was a fine hotel but not quite as comfortable as we hoped. The room was tiny and the bathroom was minuscule. I couldn't shave my legs in the shower because I couldn't lift my knees or bend over! My husband is tall and found the space difficult. Our room had a balcony and we enjoyed seeing the locals in...

We chose this hotel upon the advice of our travel agent as we could not stay at our original choice of hotel. We were very disappointed as it is not as central as advertised on the website, it is a good 10-15 minute walk to the nearest Metro station 'Piazza Repubblica' and at least a half an hour walk to...

We have just stayed 4 nights at this Hotel and we found it to be very average, Our room felt like stepping into a "time warp", very 70's, a bright orange tiled bathroom with very poor toiletries and to top it off a mirrored bedroom with fake flowers, mmmm - bu t it was at least clean! The breakfast was...

Location, Location, Location. This hotel is within walking distance of the main tourist areas of Rome but so is nearly everywhere and the cobbles are hard on the feet. For my money I think it is possible to be nearer the places of interest. The hotel is fine in that there is a clean, smallish room, the staff are friendly...

It was very clean and we had an amazing view...

I truly enjoyed my stay here! I was a bit hesitant about the distance from everything, but it was close enough for me to walk around. Even though I stayed in a room with a single bed, my bed was big enough to fit two people, the breakfast buffet had a wide variety, and the cleanliness in the hotel and...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
