Overall the hotel is nice. The roof top bar had a great view, especially at night. It is a quick mile or less walk to sites like Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Also it is a quick walk from the train station. Fernando at the front desk gave us two great suggestions for restaurants nearby. Only downside was the size of the room and the shower. When traveling with big suitcases they took up most of the room. May have just been the rooms we had.
Can’t fault this hotel at all. Staff were so friendly and accommodating - particular Alessandro on the front desk who gave great advice on where to go and how to get there as this was our first time in Rome. The hotel is in a good location with easy access to public transport, and the staff on the front desk will also book taxis on your behalf which was helpful. Rooftop bar was lovely, so relaxing and friendly staff. Drinks weren’t cheap but worth paying the extra couple of euros to be away from the busy atmosphere of the city centre. Breakfast was good, plenty of continental options with the addition of eggs and bacon. We were bed and breakfast only but chose to eat here two out of three nights; best pizza we’ve ever eaten! Really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we visit Rome again.…
We had a 3 night stay at this hotel and cannot find anything bad to say about it. Roof top bar is lovely for breakfast and evening drinks. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful particularly Alessandro on reception who also has a great sense of humour. It’s in a great location within walking distance of all the major attractions and only 10 mins from the train station for transport to the airport. There are an abundance of delicious, yet reasonable restaurants within 5 minutes if the hotel if you do no want to walk too far on an evening.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
We stopped here while traveling to the Amalfi coast. Perfect location to access major sightseeing spots. The rooftop was beautiful for breakfast to see the sunrise or a cocktail for the sunset. Staff was extremely helpful. Great restaurants within walking distance.
We have returned today from a fabulous 3 night stay at the Marcella. I can’t say anything negative about this hotel, book here and you won’t be disappointed. It is a very well run hotel with a great rooftop bar serving breakfast and meals throughout the day. Book and enjoy!
