We stayed there for 6 nights. The place is in a great location, and was probably nice 10 years ago. It is run down, badly in need of upgrades and a good cleaning. We had ants, and on the 2 night they spread all over the room. We told them and they were fumigated but we had dead ants all...

Located within walking distance to Spanish Steps and trevi fountain. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Street is noisy at night and breakfast is just ok but would stay here again in a heartbeat

The rooms were quite a good size and the air conditioning was effective - important when the temperature outside was 36C. We didn't actually book this hotel, we were moved there when we were bounced out of another Leonardi hotel which had overbooked. I have no idea how this hotel could legitimately have obtained four stars: in terms of facilities...

We booked this hotel as our planned holiday to another country was cancelled as we were checking in at the airport and flights were available to Rome. This hotel has a good location, close to the Spanish Steps (currently closed), the Trevi Fountain and the Barberini metro station. It is clean. Unfortunately, this is where the good points finish. By...

We had a very good room in this central hotel a few minutes walk from Piazza Barberini with its Metro Station, taxi rank, hop/hop off bus stop and urban bus stops, Close to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc. The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming and the breakfast is excellent with an impressive number of options, all well presented....

When we arrived at the hotel our room had been given to someone else. We had booked this hotel since it is close to everything the other hotel was not as well located. This had happened to someone else at the same hotel - I suspect that they do this on purpose as the chain owns multiple hotels and they...

A hotel situated with easy access to the metro, buses etc to help you get around. Walking distance of the pantheon, the Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain and many other attractions. An ample and very fresh array of breakfast items on the buffet. Our room was very roomy, comfortable and clean.

This hotel is 5 mins from Trevi fountain 5 mins from Spanish steps and about 20 mins walk from most major attactions. It is also 5 mins from Barberini metro station where you can catch a direct metro line to the Vatican or to Termini station. The hotel itself is dated, but clean and well decorated. Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
