We stayed here 5th-8th August - First of all the location was fantastic! Too many great places close by to mention but obviously the most touristy were the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain which are both 5 min walk away! 30 min stroll to the Colosseum and 40 walk to the Vatican (well worth it) even in the August heat!...

Tucked away in one of the tiny Italian streets close to Trevi Fountain.Quiet location but close too many attractions. Gents on Reception a little officious in their manner and not the most helpful. Hotel very clean, room was quaint and cosy, bathroom very clean, unfortunately noisy neighbours allowing doors to bang shut caused disturbance, but it was dealt with. Breakfast...

I would agree with much of the high marks given to this hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and was most kind and helpful in giving directions and recommendations, the morning breakfast was more than adequate and gave me the opportunity to enjoy the best cappuccino I have had, and the infrastructure was clean, well maintained and showed no signs...

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to the Trevi Fountain. The staff were very friendly, we didn't eat in the hotel, but there are a number of restaurants close to the hotel Tip: there's a gorgeous Italian sandwich bar close to the hotel (come out the door turn left) worth a visit!

hotel dei Borgognoni is the place to be in Rome. The location is near to most parts of the tourist attractions. 3 minutes walk to Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. 10 minutes walk to Piazza Navona and a convenient store right next to it. The staff are very helpful and the food is great. If you decide to buy...

After one hour of checking in a burglar break into my room, managed to open electronic safe and stole cash. Hotel didn't do anything about it. They didn't even called the police. They asked me to go to police station myself to report it. After three different police stations police told me that hotel needs to call 113. Once I...

Great location, good rooms, good food, great staff with one exception. Lovely lady in the bar and breakfast room (you borrowed my glasses, you're great) BUT 50ish receptionist, male, tried to load extras on bill and seemed to think everything was below him. Final word - two concierge were fantastic - professional, funny and helpful.

Our travel agent knew we liked to walk (not use cabs & scooters), and she nailed it. Just a few blocks from the Trevi, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the awesome shopping, the Navona Piazza, and on and on. We even walked to the Wedding Cake, the Colosseum and San Clemente from this lovely hotel. The breakfast was just right...

From the moment we walked in the door, every detail at Hotel dei Borgognoni was superb. The staff could not have been more welcoming or patient with all of our questions/issues. Our room with a terrace was an oasis of quiet in a noisy city, that included beautiful flowers, a fruit tree, table, chairs and umbrella. A beautiful spot for...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
