The Lord Byron hotel is everything it promises to be. It is a beautiful, quiet hotel with really good beds, big bathrooms and friendly sweet people. The breakfast buffet has everything you can imagine to start everyday in the best way possible. You're 5 mins from the trams that take you directly to the Vatikan or Colosseum. A 20 min...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Situated in the center of a beautiful, upscale neighborhood in residential Rome, stands the chic Lord Byron hotel. Boasting comfort and relaxation that exceeds expectations, a stay at the luxury five-star hotel is matched by none other than your own bed. A true home away from home, if your home was an homage to the Art Deco era, filled with...

From arrival to departure the stay at the Lord Bryon was so special. We were on a family trip so we stayed in five different rooms in the Lord Bryon. My husband and I had the Patio room on the lower level. It was so special. The room was very large, the bed was like two queen size beds together....

An excellent hotel, located next to Villa Borghese park, in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious (go for suites, they are worth it), some with balconies. Restaurant is a gem, with a dedicated and creative chef. Service was impeccable. If you want to be pampered in Rome, go for it! Expensive, but worth it.

The hotel belongs to an old couple who are apparently want to make you feel confident and comfortable during your visit in Rome. Situated right next to a big park in the quite neighborhood full of ambesseies, the rooms are large and elegant. The service is thoughtful, the breakfast is very rich. Definitely worth the money!

Visited in May 2016, got a wonderful suite with a large terrace on the ground floor. Luxurious furniture, elegant art-deco decor and amazing architecture make this place an unforgettable experience. Mr and Mrs Ottaviani, the owners take care of every little detail. The cuisine is the whole separate story, the dinners have been a totally different experience, all served on...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
