This is a fine hotel, excellently situated in the heart of the old city and within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist sites. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful at all times. We had a wonderful room with en suite, separate lounge area and balcony. It was quiet at night and we slept well. We would...

This hotel is in a great location. We could walk to just about everything except the Vatican and basilica. There's plenty of cafés, restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were very friendly and happy to assist. The breakfast was simple but nice, offering toast, fruit, cereal and yoghurt. The coffee was great. The room was a good size so we...

Location - This is right on the main street of Rome. There are shops as soon as you exit the hotel. It is within walking distance to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and lost of important sites. It is fantastic. You can even take little breaks from your excursion and be back within half an hour. Breakfast - The most succulent fruits...

The location of the Hotel is superb, within walking distance to most of all major attractions (although there is a tour bus which is available locally). The Hotel itself is basic, small rooms but clean and well serviced. We stayed on the very top floor with a balcony - nice view but the room (574) is immediately underneath an external...

The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, room (572) was small but adequate and had the bonus of a large balcony which was on the Via Del Corso Road. You can gain access to all your neighbours balconies by a little gate which is actually easy to climb over - if you are worried about security -...

We have stayed at the Hotel Regno on a number of occasions and we have never been disappointed. The staff are very helpful and can give you some good tips on getting away from the tourist traps. The rooms are comfortable and clean but the real winner is location, location, location. We will definitely be staying there on our next...

We had a lovely time at the Hotel Regno in Rome. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was clean however there was a lot of mould and in my opinion there is no excuse for that. It is very to paint it over and deal with it properly during the winter when the hotel is less busy. It...

The Hotel Regno was our base when we stayed in Rome. Very conveniently located on the Via del Corso, we found it central to all our needs. We had stayed in Rome before in a different hotel, which we also rated quite highly, but wanted to experience another hotel. The Regno has a great group of staff members who were...

Our travel agent booked our pre tour accommodation at Hotel Regno in Rome. Unfortunately we only had one night there, but it was great. Due to a flight change we arrived very early in the morning (9:30am) and although of course our room wasn't ready, they were very accommodating to hold our luggage and tell us about nearby attractions. They...

If you looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of all Rome's attractions then the Hotel Regno s a good choice. We found the room to be spacious and clean the only negative was the breakfast which was basic at best. Staff were very helpful

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
