This family owned hotel was fantastic! Right in the heart of Rome. You could see the Colosseum from the hotel rooftop, it was across the street from the Forums. GREAT location. The owners were great, friendly and helpful. Gave directions to restaurants, advice on public transportation, etc. I along with another instructor brought 10 students to Italy for study abroad...

I absolutely reccomend Residenza Maritti, as the location and the view is the best you can find in the historical centre, and also the price very competitive. The staff very friendly, the atmosphere cozy and chill. The top floor rooms are my favourite as they are brighter and modern. the contrast with the antique building is definately unique.

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting room to sightsee. Adjacent to the Roman Fora, with a great view of it from our room, it's location is perfect. A few minutes walk from the Colosseum metro station, it's super conveniently located....and it's walking distance from to all the fabulous sights of Rome and Vatican....

Very friendly and helpful hosts, placed in the center super close to the coloceo, great view of Rome, the rooms are cozy, each floor has a different feel from vintage to modern, you prepare your own breakfast as if you are at home and clean after yourself, though not rich in choices. It was the best relaxing vacations we had!...

Thank you for your review. We have appreciated your good feedback. From October we have started a new service for breakfast: breakfast buffet prepared on the roof garden or in the Lupigiada Bistrot, it depends on the weather. If you come back to Residenza you will try it! We hope to see you again. Piefrancesco e Gianluca

I was convinced by my wife to stay in this hotel that have a very central location and a good ranking. The result has been by far below the expectations. Thank you to have defined Residenza as a "gem". You have experimented, for a few days, a journey within a journey, meeting an authentic roman family, who lives in this house since 200 years. We are happy for you that you have appreciated this through the details of the furnishings that characterize the house and the rooms. We hope to...

The place is superb, the rooms original, beautiful and wonderfully cozy. The hotel building is in fact a genuine, several centuries old, Roman Palazzio still owned and run by the same family. “We have our favourite rooms at the front of the building. Typical of housing in the Centro Storico the building is right on the one-way very narrow street. Traffic does go by all day long, but at maybe only 5 to 10 kph. Quieter rooms are available in the centre and rear of the building.”
