Could easily be 5star . Beautiful place , very cozy luxurious small rooms. Beautiful linen and clean bathrooms . BUT THE reception staff is very hostile . Unapproachable and Very unfriendly both the ladies and the guy . However I believe if you choose such a job you need to LIKE people . All kinds of people . I've stayed...

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in December when we were there over the Christmas holiday. The rooms may be of various sizes but the ones we had were very small and one can barely turn around in there. There was also no lighting in the closet which was in the entry so finding things in there was a...

It was a challenge to find a hotel near Termini Station that was good value. The Brittania Hotel has 1) very good service, 2) a convenient and quiet location near the Opera House and Termini, 3) a very good fresh breakfast. The only issue are small rooms but few folk spend much time in a hotel room in Rome. Value...

Great spot. Well located, 2 minute walk from the metro. Almost all the main attractions can be walked to within a 40 minute radius. Rooms are spotless, if a little small. All and all we would 100% stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

We stayed for one night. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. The room was small but well equipped and they had drinks and snacks in the mini bar for free. The room however was very hot and the temperature could only be set by the concierge. When leaving the airport, we had asked for them to call a...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at The Britannia Hotel and thank you for approving our high standard breakfast and the complimentary check-in minibar. Hotel is quite central and convenient as next to Termini Station. Both receptionist Simona and Magdalena are exceptional. They are very helpful and made us feel welcome. Room 309 was good, bathroom/shower excellent. Breakfast is very good. Cereal, cold cuts, bacon, sausages, eggs and lovely sweets. Nice choice of cheese too. Hotel is clean and room quiet at night. My family and I planned to end our stay in Italy at a Mag Hotel in Rome. While I am a member of many other hotel chains, I selected this particular hotel for its location and vibe for the end to our vacation. We strategically booked our train to arrive in time to be able to take our daughters to...

I stayed in this hotel for couple of days during last week of November. We arrived here from Florence. Hotel is close to central station: Roma Termini. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
