We spent last a Thanksgiving in Rome with out two children 11 and 6! The hotel was PERFECT! Location, staff, accommodation. We stayed at one of their family suites, queen bed and two single beds. Bathroom was recently remodeled, spacious (especially for Europe), clean and great water pressure! Breakfast on the roof top was great! Again, my kids loved Sabina!...

Our family of four stayed in the adjacent family apartment to the main hotel. This accommodation was ideal for us. It provided a separate bedroom with twin beds and a pull out queen-size sofa, in addition to a small kitchenette. The bathroom was quite large, not adjacent to either sleeping areas, well equipped, and with very good water pressure. The...

This was our third stay at this hotel, this time for two weeks. We have returned each time because of the ideal location, so close to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and many other sights, and because the staff is so kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit small and not fancy, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offers...

Enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself was good and worked well for us. Very cold outside and we came back often to warm up before venturing out again. Breakfast was good with range of food and happy staff.

We loved our stay at the Portoghesi. It is not a fancy place but it is lovely and feels very "Roman" and authentic. The location is close to most of the major monuments, but the street is quiet at night and there isn't the touristy chaos you find around the bigger piazzas. The staff is kind and helpful, the bed...

We stayed two nights in December 2016. The suite was comfortable for my husband and I and our two sons. Very attractive and clean hotel; breakfast was excellent, and we could easily walk to so many attractions. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A clean, quiet and friendly hotel. The staff was wonderful, especially the breakfast staff. Close to all the major attractions with a good many restaurants close by, we walked to most. We had a nice stay and look forward to returning.

We visited Italy in September, 2016 with another couple (both in mid-50's) and stayed 3 nights at Hotel Portoghesi. It was our 1st stop in Italy and we were not disappointed with our choice! The hotel is conveniently located, the room was clean, quiet, efficient and just spacious enough. The breakfast selection was perfect and we very much enjoyed the...

Don't expect grandeur, but you will certainly get value. This hotel makes the most of its situation. A picturesque medieval tower is next door, and you get a view of it from the breakfast area. The lovely church of San Antonio dei Portoghesi is on the other side, and you'll get a view of the dome from the breakfast are...
