Overlooking the panorama that has inspired visitors for centuries is Rome's most prestigious address – the Rome Cavalieri hotel. Though only minutes from the city's great monuments, the Rome Cavalieri has the tranquility of an oasis. Enclosed in fifteen acres of lush Mediterranean parklands, this luxury hotel is a calm retreat in the heart of the Eternal City, an elegant refuge where time slows and hearts quicken. The first hotel in Europe to be part of the exclusive Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, the Rome Cavalieri hotel is more than just a 5–star property. It's the pre-eminent luxury hotel in Rome, with an art collection that outshines many museums, a Grand Spa that would be the envy of a prestige health resort, and standards of luxury that set it apart from other Rome hotels. The Rome Cavalieri brings new meaning to notions of Italian style, and new purpose to the fine art of exclusive hospitality.

Lovely hotel but the staff is worth the stay! The views are amazing and the location is easily accessible to the city but quiet and secluded. Fantastic breakfast. I have no complaints whatsoever. Looking forward to the next stay!

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for three nights before heading over to Greece and the hotel was perfect. The view is amazing, as is well documented, and it's super cool being able to stay you're staying on one of the Seven Hills of Rome. Breakfast is wonderful. Pool is nice, but it is definitely not the typical American hotel experience for kids; swimming hats are required and cost 5Euro if you don't bring your own. Pool service is good, but expect a very laid back experience as opposed to the more rambunctious scene you see in the US. We stayed on the Imperial floor and the lounge was amazing. Biggest complain there is that when we arrived the hours were 3pm-11pm, and so perfect for kids' dessert and a night cap after dinner, but then changed to noon-9pm on our last night, so we didn't get to use it much the last night (though were able to sneak in a stop at 8:30 after dinner). The tradeoff for the view, of course, is that you're going to be needing an Uber or a car to get to the sites, so I spent easily 30-40 Euro per day on Uber rides, and almost missed our Coliseum timed entrance due to the traffic. Since we have gotten to stay at this hotel once, we will probably stay more in town next time just for ease of access. However, the hotel service is impeccable and we had a great stay!

Absolutely beautiful room, wonderful service, and amazing collection of art. We are a young couple and stayed only one night but were treated with utmost respect the entire time and never got a snobby vibe from anyone.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are friendly- we were greeted by everyone we encountered. They were also helpful in getting us taxis, sorting out an error I made in our reservations, and suggesting places to go. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. We want to go back when we can enjoy the fabulous pools!

We had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel. The room we received looked out to many Rome attractions and it was a spectacular view. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet at Cavalieri’s L’Uliveto restaurant that is truly one of the Waldorf Astoria specialties, We dined there every evening and the staff, who treated us like family (maybe better) and knew us by name, made our stay the best! Imma, Carla, and Damiono treated us like royalty. When they found out it was my birthday they treated me to an absolutely delicious dessert, and the next night Pescicco. The meals were beautifully presented and made our trip so enjoyable. We will visit again soon. The concierge desk helped us book our reservations for the Colosseum; Mateo was exemplary nice and he called me by name when I talked to him the next day. They were so helpful at getting us lined up for our Covid test that is required to fly back home. Helga ensured our room was impeccably clean, daily, and she always greeted us with sincerity and hospitality. We were spoiled!
