We so enjoyed our stay at Maribell last time that in April we decided to go and visit Rome once again. After a long and tedious winter Rome was a dream come true: lovely warm weather, a soft breeze, trees in flower and people delighted to be out and about. The weather was perfect for al fresco dining and when...

Maribell B&B was a great place to stay in Rome. Located in the beautiful and safe Prati district we had easy access to everything we needed. The B&B itself is located just one block North of Via Cola di Rienzo, a great street for shopping and cafes. The Metro stop 'Lepanto' is a 5 minute walk from the B&B and...

The location is excellent. The noise on Friday and Saturday evenings from the gelato below our window was terrible. This affected our stay because we were worn out because of lack of sleep. The noise didn't stop until after 1:30 am. Sunday evening was okay because the gelato closed earlier. The room was very clean and Mariana was very sweet....

My friend and I stayed there less than a week ago. Marina was very accommodating, I have Celiac's and she provided me with Gluten Free food for breakfast. The BnB is located across the canal about 5-10minute walk to the main area where all the sights are. It's a good place to stay if you wish to get away from...

We just spent one night, last June, at this nice b&b. As we only were in Rome for 36 hours (after cruising the Med) I choose this place primarly for it's location. A quiet area half way to the Vatican and half way to historic Rome. This allowed us to spent the first day around Vatican and second day in...

My wife and I stayed at Maribell during our honeymoon. The location of the B&B is in a very safe neighborhood. Amazing food, public transportation, and the Vatican are all within a short walk from this location. The hospitality that we received during our stay is by far better than any place that we stayed while in Italy for two...

We stayed here for 3 nights after our cruise. The B&B is centrally located and most attractions are within walking distance. There is a metro station near by as well. Marina was simply amazing and made our stay very enjoyable and memorable. She helped us book a train to Milan and offered great tips for seeing the local attractions. She...

You will not find better accommodation, from the location, advice, cleanliness, etc.. etc.. We walked to all the sights apart from the Coliseum and we got the Metro. We were 2 adults and 3 kids aged 9, 12 and 15 they had their own room and we had the other. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Rome it...

We have been to MAribell from 20 April to 26 with out 10 month-old daughter. She was very friendly, and extremely helpful. The roomes are very-very clean(she cleans every morning), makes the beds. She was so cute, as she knew that we were going with our baby, she already prepared a little bed for her. Sososoooo cute! The location is...

Recently spent 4 wonderful nights at Maribell with my sister and a friend. It was our last stop on a 2 week tour of Italy. Marina, and her B&B, were amazing. As I mentioned to her upon leaving, it felt like being at home...just in central Rome. She is very friendly, very welcoming, and always willing to help with any...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
