We stayed four nights on our first trip tl Rome. Our host Alberto was most thorough and caring. We received very good instructions how to get there and other useful information well before our trip. Despite small misunderstanding on our side Alberto took care everything most professional way and he was a valuable source of information. B&B is quite small...

We chose this B&B because of the excellent reviews of other guests and believe me that they are completely right about it. Alberto, the owner, is really hospitalary since the moment you do the reservation. He contacts you to show you how to arrive to his place from the different airports and gives a lot of tips about Rome. The...

At first, walking in the neighborhood to get to the B&B, we were worried because the streets were filthy and there were garbage everywhere. The neighborhood isn't the prettiest of Rome. We were very pleased with the B&B. Very clean and quiet place and confortable bed. Alberto the owner, was really helpful in giving tips on where to eat, what...

We really loved our stay here. Nothing too fancy, but the place is super clean, and the owner is very involved! Also there is A/C which is not usual in Europe. Would definitely go back, thank you Alberto!

He shown us places to eat, ice cream parlours, how to get about on the metro etc... very helpful, pleasant guy. This is not really a Bed and Breakfast as much as it is a youth guest house. As a guest house, it is great: clean, relatively comfortable, and independent. The owner is very nice, once you get past the does and don'ts, and the location is relatively convenient. It does not feel like an adult B&B, though, as there is...

The B&B was great! We were greeted by Alberto upon arrival who we had previously contacted via email about what time we would be arriving and the room was ready for us for when we got there. We were given a tour around the room and shown how to use things and given information about Rome and the surrounding areas....

My husband and I stayed at Termini Gold B&B for three nights and would happily recommend to family and friends. Our room was small, but had everything we needed and was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was basic but was good enough to get you started for your day. The wifi was great, too. The location is easily accessible...

Termini Gold B&B exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic, with easy access to all major tourist attractions, close to metro, trams and the Roma Termini station. The B&B was spotless, clean and well run. Alberto (the owner/) was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. He explained all the rules for the B&B which were easy to...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
