Relais Maddalena is the perfect spot. Located one block from the Pantheon, that puts you close to dead center of the historic center. Ten to fifteen minutes walk to all the major attraction. Be aware the sign on the door is very small and their is no presents of a hotel from the street. Don't be put off by the... More

I had a really warm welcome at my favourite hotel in Rome and stayed in my usual room overlooking the Piazza and with a view of the Pantheon through one of the side roads. Francesco and his staff always treat me like one of the family and I was greeted with a "WELCOME HOME SUSAN" message written in flower petals... More

I often travel solo and this is one of the best single rooms I've encountered. I had space to spread out, great rain-head shower, quiet despite the busy piazza outside, good bed with lovely linens. Very charming breakfast room with a good selection, even gluten-free and dairy-free choices. As others have stated, the location is stellar - so close to... More

Very big and clean Room for me and My sister relaxing in beautiful Roma. We had a room with view over a small and Nice church and only a couple of minuts walking to Panteon. Breakfest was ok! I absolute book this charming and Nice Hotell again when I'm back in Rom.

We stayed here for three nights in the romantic double which was clean and comfortable and the hotel location is perfect for exporing Rome, a stones throw to the Pantheon on one of our favorite piazzas. Its 20 mins walk to either the Colosseum area or Vatican. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the continental breakfast... More

One street away from the Pantheon, sharing the Piazza Maddalena with the church that gives it its name, and two restaurants (with pavement seating, naturally), is the Relais Maddalena. In a huge wooden front door, is a normal sized door, behind which is a stone staircase showing the wear of centuries. We moved rooms mid-stay, and both were beautifully refurbished... More

I stayed at Relais Maddalena last week on business and it truly has left quite an impression on me. The hotel has a great location on a beautiful square only a few steps from the Pantheon. I received a very warm welcome, was personally accompanied to my very spacious and stunningly decorated room, and from thereon in felt very much... More

Can't ask for better than this hotel. Gracious greeting upon arrival, very helpful and kind staff. When you enter the building, it doesn't seem interesting but once you enter the reception, you can see what a charming place it is. There's a very nice common room where they serve breakfast which is great. They have all you'd need to get... More
